  1. Good morning Yota and thank you Iraq has massive oil deposits just under the sand, and is easily acccessable. Looks like oil will not be disappearing anytime soon. Also, this will enhance Iraq's riches, that coupled with the "white paper" and Kademi's mandate, we can be rest asssured an increase value of the IQD is imenent.
  2. I believe that Iraq is well underway to becoming the next powerhouse in the ME, it has been stated that they will have the most growth out of the ME in 2022. The framework for economic development and prosperity for its people has accelerated as of late, the pressure is on and the world is waiting. Yes sir brother Laid Back, I can see it as plain as day 😉
  3. Iraq is building it's infrastructure to become a major global player and a powerhouse in the ME. Totally agree with you @Laid Back
  4. The latter in the oil sector, which means the ability to restore the exchange rate of the dollar against the dinar to what it was.” Great article and thanks Howie C This is the main reason the HCL has been held up, major corruption in the sector. This will topple those involved and push HCL to law. kazemi is continuing with his plan 👍
  5. Much appreciated Yota, This has Maliki written all over it, and yes, I agree with you @southbeachcould be that Kazemi has another term
  6. Totally agree brother, lately Maliki has been in the news, and where there’s smoke, there’s fire 😉

Thanks Yota 🙏 “He stressed that “participation in this exhibition comes within the framework of the bank’s keenness to attend and interact in local exhibitions to introduce and promote local products and activate the marketing aspect. Time to get down to business, a banks number one priority is to get the people to have as many bank products as possible.
  8. Good morning Yota, very much appreciated 🙏 "The Minister of Oil and Chairman of the National Oil Company announced that “Iraq is negotiating with the global oil production giant (Aramco)" If Iraq inks a deal with Saudi's (Aramco) it will a major leap forward
  9. Iraq Set To Sign Crucial Energy Deals With Saudi Arabia By Tsvetana Paraskova - Nov 01, 2021, 11:30 AM CDT Iraq is in discussions to sign energy deals with Saudi Arabia worth tens of billions of U.S. dollars, according to Iraq’s oil minister. OPEC’s second-largest producer, Iraq, and OPEC’s top producer Saudi Arabia are discussing contracts in the energy, water desalination, and petrochemical sectors, Iraqi daily Al-Sabah quoted Iraq’s Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul Jabbar Ismail as saying on Monday. Iraq is in talks with Saudi oil giant Aramco about a potential partnership to explore and develop natural gas fields in the western desert in Iraq, according to the Iraqi minister. Despite holding huge oil and gas reserves, Iraq has struggled to develop them and is not self-sufficient in energy and electricity supply. Iraq has been suffering from power outages and disruptions due to a lack of investment in its transmission grids. Iraq also relies on electricity and natural gas imports from neighboring Iran for its power supply and has received waivers from the United States to continue importing electricity from Iran despite the American sanctions against Tehran. Iraq also plans contracts with Saudi Arabia-based ACWA Power aimed at building water desalination plants and solar parks in the country, according to the Al-Sabah daily. In addition, OPEC’s number one and number two are also negotiating the start of joint projects in the petrochemicals sector, the Iraqi minister was quoted as saying. A few weeks ago, supermajor TotalEnergies signed agreements with Iraq’s authorities to invest in the country’s energy sector over the next years. TotalEnergies said it would invest in installations to recover gas that is being flared on three oil fields and as such, supply gas to 1.5 gigawatts (GW) of power generation capacity in a first phase, growing to 3 GW in a second phase. The French supermajor will also develop 1 GWac of solar electricity generation capacity to supply the Basra regional grid. These two projects, plus a large-scale seawater treatment unit to increase water injection capacities in southern Iraq fields without increasing water withdrawals, represent a total investment of approximately $10 billion, TotalEnergies said.

  11. All good down here Ron, always sunny and warm. Thanks for asking 😀
  12. Good morning Yota, I appreciate you sir “However, they remain shocking numbers that could have played an important role in changing the reality of the country and the lives of millions of citizens, the lowest of which is estimated at $150 billion, and the highest at $1.1 trillion.” I wonder if this is Dinar or USD? Either way the article says “could have” If they recover those luted funds, change “could have” to “it will” And those citizens receiving the benefits 🙏 Kazemi wants change

  14. Much appreciated Ron, Iraq is getting ready to make the jump to the international stage.
  15. Spot on Yota sir… A digital banking system is key, they are getting ready to go international. Improving the performance of banks through new inputs based on modern technologies, as well as the development of patterns and policies that adopt modern banking techniques that the countries of the developed world preceded us to.
  16. A super good morning Yota; "They also discussed the readiness to open the field for exchanging experiences and cooperation in the foreign banking sector, in order to establish a positive stage in the economic relations between the Iraqi side and the Saudi side." This is a key alliance in the ME, once these 2 ink a deal it will put Iraq in the game and begin a powerful partnership, 1 Saudi Riyal is equivalent to .27 cents, I'm guessing the IQD will come out around that.
  17. Good afternoon DV; Do not let this article get to you, if it does. Any nation with 90% below the poverty line, is doomed and civil war will be the outcome, and In my humble opinion, this will not be the case. Yes Iraq has been to hell and back over the past number of years, yes corruption has been a major disruption in progress, and yes, it feels it's been a free for all for some time now. First and foremost, the CBI is the only governing body that can adjust the exchange rate, and the article in imo, is only an opinion piece and does not reflect the ongoing progress that Iraq is making. In order for Iraq to become a global player, many things must be in place, and that list of items has been posted many times here, which most have been put into place and enacted into law as of today. Building back Iraq from the past is a massive job, one that requires a list of items as long as the Euphrates river itself and of coarse, this will take some time, how much time? I really don't know. But since then, what I do know, is that they have come a long way and they are on the right path to becoming a powerhouse in the Middle East. With the vast riches that Iraq has, and many global G20 nations wanting a piece of the action, and be protected, many elements must be established and put to international law. Again, we know Iraq is a vastly rich nation of natural resources, and the alliance being built right now with the Saudi's is key to moving forward, and will be a strong partner for future development. Now, the oil will not last forever and I think this article is saying that they cannot rely on its abundance for an eternity and steps must be taken to thwart off its decline. Devaluing the IQD to 3,000 will completely deviate from all the progress that is taking place and will plunge Iraq, and perhaps the Saudi investors, and any other nation taking up roots there, into financial disaster, and I just don't see it. I am convinced that what is taking place over there, is progress and that progress although slow and tedious one day will have its day, for the Iraqi people and for all investing in it's future. We Dinar holders are not the only ones looking at this scenario as an investment, we are one of many, and there are some HUGE players setting up shop there looking for the same thing we are, a return of investment. Keeping the faith 🙏
  18. Good morning Yota, top of the day out to you sir "Recently, there have been cases that the citizen was not familiar with, since the spread of ATMs throughout Iraq, represented by the disappearance of small and medium groups (from 1000 to 10 thousand dinars), Interesting, could this mean they are making way for even smaller denom notes?
  19. Good morning Yota, much appreciated sir 🙏 “according to the statement, "the willingness to open the field for exchanging experiences and cooperation in the foreign banking sector, in a way that establishes apositive stage in economic relations between the Iraqi side and the Saudiside." Iraq continues to strengthen its ties with its neighbors. This means joint coordination and cooperation, which translates to working together in the international community. Iraq wants to be a global player and they are laying down the framework and becoming a powerful partner in the Middle East. Keeping the faith 🙌
  20. Good morning brother Laid Back, I am onboard with your thought process, Iraq is beginning to make head ways and is on track to become a global competitor
  21. "It is worth mentioning that the Central Bank seeks to increase the ability of Iraqi banks to expand their network of relations with international banks and enhance the confidence of citizens and investors in them, especially after their success in obtaining such ratings." The writing is on the wall DV, onwards we go.....
