  1. Luigi... Luigi... Luigi... What are we going to do with you? NO the dinar is not internationally traded. If it were it would be listed as such. ...and why does the title of this thread not match the information in the post? I didn't see any "PROOF" anywhere by any guru of anything! Sorry Luigi, you have been getting a beat-down lately... You must like it though because you keep coming back for more.
  2. Nelg, I have thought about what you presented and thank you so much for explaining your understanding of it... I have come to learn though that both body and soul die (as in cease to exist) not just the body so, I don't believe anyone goes anywhere until Yahushua returns and makes them/us immortal. Yahuhsua/Jesus tells us that death is like a sleep. Scripture also makes it clear that both the body and soul do die, as well as the fact that there is no such thing as a disimbodied human spirit (as in ghosts, etc.). YHWH tells us in Eccles.9:5, that the dead know not a thing. When people die thier thoughts or conciousness cease to exist. When YHWH/God created man he formed his body from the earth and that body was just a body and not yet alive or concious until YHWH/God breathed his breath into it. This means that the body+Gods breath (maybe refered to as spirit) = a living soul. When we die that process is reversed. When we physically die the breath/spirit (which is not the soul, but the breath of YHWH) leaves the body/returns to the Father. This means the soul ceases as does the body because there is no soul without both the body and the breath and the soul just like the body is not immortal. Psalm 146:3-4, "Put not your trust in the son of man his breath goes forth he returns to his earth in that very day his thoughts perish." The soul ceases to exist only until it is reserected by Yahushua. You can't go from mortal to immortal if you already have a immortal soul. This is why the resserection applies to both body and soul. Dead means the absense or discontinuance of life and conciousness. It doesn't mean that just your body dies and decomposes. Death is not life in another place or leaving this life for another. When we die our thoughts PERISH. Which mean we don't exist period. It's like when you fall asleep and you have no awareness of anything. As for hades, hell, sheol, the grave... This is exactly where you go when you die... It is the grave where we are placed but, It's also a state of non existence which is hard for us being and only knowing "alive" to accept. We actually do not exist in any form when we die until Yahushua returns. Otherwise there would be no need for a resserection. You can't resserect something that isn't really dead? Unfortunately for some (non believers), they will experience not only the first death but, the second as well... meaning that since they have died the first physical death as we know it, then they too must be resserected to face judgement and the final death which results in thier souls being completely destroyed in the lake of fire. This is the understanding the Holy Spirit has given me and I have no doubt that it is the truth. i really like having these conversations. Maybe someone should start a forum here for talking about these kind of things. Then we wouldn't have to worry about getting of topic LOL... Anyway, thanks again Nelg and blessing to you in Yahushua/Jesus
  3. Truth straight from the word of YHWH'God! Thanks Darwiniatrige!

Life in prison for Tennessee satanist who dismembered and ate mother-of-three after taking her back to his house for sex Coffee Circuit Judge Craig Johnson sentenced 37-year-old Gregory Scott Hale of Summitville on Thursday to life behind bars Prosecutors say Hale picked Hyder up at a liquor store and took her to his residence, killing her after sex to 'fulfill an obsession' Hyder’s former husband Charles Hyder said he and his children 'forgave Hale' for killing her then dismembering her Fired from slaughterhouse for performing satanic ritual and stealing eyeballs from carcasses By Associated Press and Alexandra Klausner For Dailymail.com and Snejana Farberov Life in prison: Gregory Scott Hale was sentenced to life in prison on Thursday for a gruesome murder A Tennessee man who told police he ate part of his victim's body has been sentenced to life in prison without parole after pleading guilty in the woman's death. Coffee Circuit Judge Craig Johnson sentenced 37-year-old Gregory Scott Hale of Summitville on Thursday. The Tullahoma News said Hale pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the June 8 death of 36-year-old Lisa Marie Hyder. Prosecutors say Hale picked Hyder up at a liquor store and took her to his residence, killing her after sex. They say he told investigators that he was fulfilling an obsession. He also admitted to eating a part of the victim. 'He told investigators that he fulfilled an obsession in wanting to kill a person and dismembering them,' Coffee County District Attorney Craig Northcott told Circuit Court Judge Craig Johnson Thursday. Coffee County District Attorney Craig Northcott said officers discovered a burned torso with hands, feet and head cut off and found in buckets. Hale's attorney, Kevin Askren, didn't immediately return a call. Hyder’s former husband Charles Hyder said he and his children 'forgave Hale' for killing her then dismembering her. Hyder told The Tullahoma News that he was happy with the plea agreement. 'Lisa and I were married for six years and had two children, a 4-year old and a 6-year old,' Hyder said. Dismembered and eaten: Coffee County District Attorney Craig Northcott said officers discovered a burned torso with hands, feet and head cut off and found in buckets that belonged to Lisa Marie Hyder Satanic worshiper: Hale's Facebook was filled with images of him praising satanic worship and he was once fired from a meat processing plant after the boss caught Hale stealing eyeballs The house: Prosecutors say Hale picked Hyder up at a liquor store and took her to his residence, killing her after sex and dismembering her then eating her 'The children are too young to understand what has happened so I just told them that mama got sick and she has gone to live with God.' Hyder's father Billy Poore told the court that he could not forgive hale 'at this time.' 'I will never have her back,' Poore said. 'May God have mercy on him.' daughters is haunted by her eldest sister's death and is having terrible nightmares. She has two sisters and a brother who live in Ohio and they have to try and cope with not having her with them anymore. 'He is an animal and needs to be put away and never get out,' Poore said. 'I cannot forgive him.' According to Lisa Hyder's ex-husband this summer, Charles Hyder, the mother of their six children had struggled with alcoholism and was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer, WZTV reported. Man forgives cannibal who killed and dismembered his wife Video courtesy of WTVC - TV Fantasies unmasked: Gregory Scott Hale told police he killed his victim to fulfill a festering fantasy Openly sisister: Gregory Scott Hale would write comments on his Facebook alluding to digging peoples graves and he would paint his face and give intimidating glance. Cancer stricken: The victim suffered from ovarian cancer and alcoholism and was a mother of two The woman lived in a Chattanooga suburb and worked in a store selling spirits in Manchester, where on Friday afternoon she ran into Gregory Hale. At around 2.30pm, she called her ex-husband asking to pick her up, but he said he was in another town. He told her to wait for him, but when Mr Hyder returned home two hours later and called Lisa back, her phone was not answering. Charles Hyder said he spent the weekend trying to reach his ex-wife so their children, the youngest of them just a year old, could talk to her like they did every day, but he could not get a hold of her. ‘I still blame myself because I didn't go get her, but I was down in Huntsville unloading my truck, and I wished I could have been there a little bit faster,’ Hyder said. ‘Usually I rescue her every time something goes wrong.’ ‘My daughter was mangled, butchered and chopped up like a liver. There's nothing left,’ her heartbroken father, Billy Poore, told the station WAAY. A clearer picture also has begun to emerge of the suspected killer and cannibal, Gregory Hale. The 37-year-old was known among his neighbors and acquaintances as a devil worshiper. He was reportedly fired from a meat processing plant after the owner caught him performing a satanic ritual. The proprietor of the slaughterhouse recalled that Hale would often take animal bones and eyeballs home with him. His Facebook page is filled with disturbing, sexually explicit and grisly images, as well as references to cannibalism and Scandinavian mythology. Changing looks: In one photo Hale apperas to be a gentleman but his style changed throughout his life 'Would tha vegetarian taste like that fake soy meat like they got in sum fast food places???' he wrote in April. According to his social media account, the 37-year-old has a girlfriend and a teenage son named after a Norse god. Some of Hale's selfies depict him brandishing weapons, including a large steel machete, or cradling snakes. The 37-year-old also shared an image that featured a line of text that read: 'I hug the people I hate so I know how big to dig their hole in my backyard.' Coffee County District Attorney Mickey Layne said Hale was apprehended at his home late Sunday after a neighbor told police he'd had a conversation with the 37-year-old and had reason to believe a homicide had been committed. When officers arrived at the home, Layne said they found human remains on the grounds. They then questioned Hale and took him into custody. Food for snakes and cannibals: Hale kept snakes along with dismembered body parts at his residence Hale has an attorney and is being held in jail on $1.5million bond. His next court date is June 23. Detectives believe the gruesome murder took place inside Hale's rural home on Pete Sain Road in Manchester Friday. According to Hale's arrest affidavit, the suspect admitted to killing Lisa Hyder and then disposing of her body by beheading the victim and chopping off her hands and feet. Officers who responded to Hale's residence after receiving a tip found at least two plastic buckets filled with human remains. Hale buried the victim's torso in a burn pile on his property and consumed a part of the corpse, the document stated. Following his arrest, Hale told police he and Hyder did not know each other until they met in Manchester and went to the man's home, Times Free Press reported. The two were sitting around the fire and talking when the 37-year-old allegedly attacked and killed Hyder. Gregory Hale offered investigators no motive for the brutal slaying and subsequent cannibalism.
  5. Absolutely! I am postive that Moose can handle his own reply to you LOL... Of course this is an open post for everyone to read and respond to so, why would you attempt to stiffle my replies to what you say here? It seems that you are one of those people who are all for "freedom of speech" as long as it goes along with your way of thinking but, you want no part of it if it doesn't. ...and if you have no answers to the questions I posed then that is perfectly fine. No need to deflect.
  6. That is fair... but how did you conclude from the four words that Moose wrote that he was speaking from a religious point of view? I personally know many people who are not religious who say the same thing. People and groups use all kinds of things to further thier agendas (whatever that may be). Why not free speech?
  7. Your first sentence i completely agree with. Your second sentence which directed me to, "Religion makes articulate, intelligent people say and do stupid things." - Christopher Hitchens... In case you forgot I will remind you that islam IS a religion... and one that does not believe in ANY government except for their own rule.
  8. Well, I have to respectfully disagree with you on the apostle Paul going to heaven... He did not actually go to Heaven. He was writing about his "visions and revelations" of this, not that he litterally went to heaven because only Yahushua/Jesus has ascended to heaven. People don't go to heaven and cannot go to heaven or see the Kingdom Of YHWH/God until they are reserected/changed by Yahushua/Jesus at his second coming. We do not have immortal souls until this takes place. The whole purpose of Him returning to earth is to gather YHWHs/Gods children, make judgement on the world and rule the Kingdom forever. How can anyone go to heaven before they have received thier immortal soul and been judged? It is just not Biblical. I do agree that we need the Bible but, we also need the Holy Spirit to give us understanding of it because without the Spirit there is no real understanding of Gods' Word. Blessings and spirit filled truths to you in Yahushua/Jesus
  9. This is good indeed! I just wish they would stop agreeing to agree and actually DO something!
  10. Hundreds rally at secret Texas Muslim event Media denied access to attend 'Stand with the Prophet' conference Published: 4 hours ago John Griffing Hundreds of protesters show up in Garland, Texas, for a secret Muslim conference Saturday, Jan. 18, 2015. GARLAND, Texas – Hundreds of protesters were out in force Saturday at a Muslim gathering blacked out to the media called “Stand with the Prophet” whose keynote speaker, an imam from Brooklyn, has been linked as an unindicted co-conspirator with the deadly 1993 World Trade Center bombing. The imam, Siraj Wahhaj, once remarked, “It is my duty and our duty as Muslims to replace the U.S. Constitution with the Quran.” President Obama formally invited Wahhaj to give a “juma,” or invocation, at the Democratic National Convention in 2012, but his invitation was withdrawn after public criticism of the decision became widespread. Hundreds or more protesters attended the rally and members of the media were denied open access to event attendees, including WND and the Blaze. Among the protesters was commentator and activist Pamela Geller, author of “The Islamization of America,” who said she was there to expose “supremacist” control of the event, attacking what she believes was a concerted effort to keep not just press from the event but ticketed non-Muslims as well. “A number of people who were going were refunded their money late last night and told they were sold out,” she said. “The people that were going had English-sounding names. So, did they purge people they didn’t think were Muslims? Isn’t that supremacist?” Part of the barricade blocking press from interviewing attendees at Garland, Texas, event Attendees were brought in through a barricade in cars, and only two attendees were escorted out of the Culwell Center (where the rally was being held) to talk with available press. These two persons were accompanied by an event cameraman, who followed them through crowds of protesters. One of them compared the peaceful protesters outside the event to ISIS. “The event today is to honor our prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and also to speak out today about the fact that Muslims are not violent people,” said spokeswoman Page Spence. “We are peaceful people. We want nothing more than to be part of this culture and community. We are level-headed peaceable people who are not trying to convert every single person to our religion.” Spence closed her remarks by comparing protestors to ISIS: “The same people who are protesting are misrepresenting the Quran the way ISIS does.” Police instructed WND and other press representatives that they were not able to interview event attendees except behind the barricade, which actually encircled the parking area, so as to prevent any real interaction with attendees. Press requests to interview attendees with police escorts were denied. Randy Dunning, a former Garland City Council member, told WND: “People were brought in cars, but they were cordoned off so that the media could not actually get at or talk to the attendees of the conference. In city government, we have to be totally accessible to members of the media, the public is allowed into our meetings, and everything is done in a very transparent fashion.” When asked about the speaker, Siraj Wihhaj, and his reputation as advocating the subjection of American freedoms and government to Islamic religious codes, Dunning remarked, “Our freedom is not a suicide pact. We can’t create a situation where we have one last opportunity to use our freedom and then use that to invoke some tyranny. … But unfortunately, there are movements in the world, and I believe radical Islam is one of them, that believe in one man, one vote, one time.” On the idea that Islam doesn’t have a “violence problem” but rather a “messaging problem,” Dunning said he was “mystified by that idea.” Dunning explained that he would want to know “why are the kidnappings and the killings happening in the first place and then we can open up and start having dialogue.” Protestors included Jeff Higgins, a Vietnam veteran who lost both legs in service to his country. Higgins said he was concerned “Islam was gaining a foothold in Garland.” “This is my backyard,” he explained. “We live under the American law, not Shariah law and I know that ultimately, that’s their goal, is to bring Shariah law to America. This is the first kind of, in-your-face attempt to do that. I know they’ll say this is about peace, but peace means submission to them.” Vietnam veteran Tim Lee said he is worried about his children and the future of America. “America was built upon God and the word of God, not Allah, not Muhammad.” He said. “The Muslim religion is a religion of death. They kill people, innocent people, little children, chop heads off, and we are going to bring this to Garland, Texas?”
  11. Well of course it's not true. We know this because we actuelly read the Bible... NO ONE has ascended to Heaven except for Yahushua/Jesus. I am no longer a religionist and so don't I don't put my focus and faith on a religion that can be a trap for so many to fall into. We believe in YHWHs/Gods power, love and truth and that is all that matters.
  12. Agreed! But, the point is that these things WILL happen because YHWH/God said they would!
  13. Thank you Markinsa, ...and although I personally have been aware of these 3 things (and many others) pertaining to islam it is good to bring things to light for others. Some may not like it and feel that your intentions are to just start an argument or spread hatred but, the fact is that these things need to be brought up and talked about just as any other elephant in the room should be.
  14. REALLY? I'd say this stuff is getting old but, I can't lie... The fact is that it is so far beyond old that I may need to invest in a mask so as to avoid having to smell the stench of it's decaying corpse any longer. Just rotten!
  15. Warning: Nations turning 'against Israel' 'Satan is using men like puppets to effect his purposes' The nations of the world are turning against Israel. But that’s in accordance with ancient biblical prophecy, according to documentary filmmaker and New York Times bestselling author Joel Richardson. “Satan is using men like puppets to effect his purposes, to thwart the plans of God,” Richardson said. “And so it’s not just in the radical Islamic community; it’s throughout Europe. The nations are turning against Israel. They said it would never happen again. The Bible said it would happen again before the return of Jesus.” Richardson went on the radio show “Point of View” this week to discuss his new documentary, “End Times Eyewitness,” produced by WND Films. His work shows how ancient biblical prophecies signaling the return of the Messiah are being fulfilled. The movie also was just named as an official selection for the 2015 Christian Worldview Film Festival. One such prophecy Richardson discussed says that the nations will turn against Israel. Richardson told “Point of View” host Kerby Anderson it is clearly happening today, and the devil himself is behind it. The Bible also speaks of an Antichrist who will rise up in the last days. Richardson said he believes the Antichrist will be a Muslim. In fact, the biblical description of the Antichrist closely resembles the Islamic Mahdi, who Muslims believe will come to rule the world before the Day of Judgment. “When you look at the Islamic traditions concerning the Mahdi, he has many striking similarities to the biblical Antichrist,” Richardson said. “They actually teach that he will rule the world specifically from the Temple Mount, exactly as the Bible says the Antichrist will set up his seat, in the seat of God on the Temple Mount, proclaiming himself as God.” Richardson interviewed global Christian leaders, pastors, theologians and missionaries for “End Times Eyewitness.” He also featured testimonies from some of the most prominent Islamic scholars in the world and leading Jewish thinkers, including: Rabbi Yehuda Glick, the Temple activist shot in an assassination attempt; Adnan Oktar, the bestselling author in the Muslim world and host of a big TV show in Turkey, who is promoting the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem. He states the Muslim messianic “Mahdi” figure is alive and well on planet Earth and that he is in communication with angels about his imminent appearance to the world; and Sheik Ekrima Said Sabri, the son of the late and notorious grand mufti of Jerusalem, who explains the Islamic eschatological belief that Jesus will return to lead a caliphate and require Christians to convert to Islam. Richardson said there are strong signs that the Antichrist will arise out of Turkey. He sees the current nationalistic frenzy in Turkey as evidence that the country may be living under the Antichrist already. “I can’t even convey to Americans the level of nationalism and nationalistic fervor that is emerging out of Turkey,” Richardson said. “This desire to revive the glory days of the Ottoman Empire, and it’s mingled with Islamism.”Muslims not only await the Mahdi but also believe Jesus Christ will return at the end of time. However, they believe he will come back as a Muslim who will tell Christians they’ve been following the wrong faith all along. “And so in many ways, the Jesus of Islamic eschatology has many similarities to the biblical false prophet that’s referenced in Revelation 13,” Richardson said. Richardson said Muslims take their prophecies very seriously. “If we are simply tracking what’s going on in the world, especially the Islamic world, which is supremely relevant to the nation of Israel, then we need to recognize how much the Islamic world is being guided by these prophecies and really how apocalyptic the Muslim world has become,” he said. According to Richardson, ISIS is fighting so passionately because it believes it is fulfilling Islamic end-times prophecy. “ISIS is a thoroughly apocalyptically driven movement, and they believe these prophecies are guiding them,” Richardson said. “They believe they’re in the last days, and that’s often why they have such a make-it-or-break-it fervor. This is the final game to them.” Richardson wants people to know that biblical prophecy is not all about misery. The Bible speaks of revivals in Egypt and Assyria, and Richardson said those may already be taking place. Assyria is roughly the region that ISIS now controls. Richardson said the displaced peoples of that region are turning toward Christianity. “From what I hear, there’s revivals breaking out in the refugee camps, because they’ve seen the true face of Islam,” he said. “And so despite all that ISIS is doing – and despite all that Satan is doing – the Lord raises up a standard as well.” Richardson said he also saw the Lord beginning to move the people of Egypt. “When I was there with the Egyptian church, they were just ecstatic despite the difficulties, despite the persecution, at the things that the Lord was doing,” he said. “Everybody, universally – I mean, they were happening that day that I was there. They said, ‘We have never seen Muslims coming to faith like we have the past month.’ And this was a year ago.” Richardson made clear that prophecy is not just about the end times and the earth’s destruction. It can also help Christians share the gospel, the “good news.” “We need to recognize that biblical prophecy is not all doom and gloom,” he said. “There’s strategic information that we can gain from it as we are trying to fulfill our primary mandate, which is proclamation of the gospel of the kingdom.”
  16. Statue of Bible's Joseph discovered? New film challenges archaeology's claim there's 'no evidence' of Exodus Published: 4 hours ago Drew Zahn Drew Zahn is a WND news editor who cut his journalist teeth as a member of the award-winning staff of Leadership, Christianity Today's professional journal for church leaders. A former pastor, he is the editor of seven books, including Movie-Based Illustrations for Preaching & Teaching, which sparked his ongoing love affair with film and his weekly WND column, "Popcorn and a (world)view." Computerized rendering of “Joseph” statue, from “Patterns of Evidence: Exodus” On the sandy shores of the Red Sea, visitors still flock to hear a long-ago legend that inspired at least two of the world’s greatest religions: the tale of Moses and God’s deliverance of the Israelite people from slavery in Egypt. But on these shores, where all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots were supposedly swallowed by the sea, modern-day archeologists have concluded the biblical legend never even happened, little more than a religious fairy tale. Until now. Now, the 12-year-journey of filmmaker Timothy Mahoney and a team of researchers is not only culminating in a new film poised to rewrite the annals of history, but is also unveiling discoveries that may confirm the tale of Exodus – including a fascinating statue that may be that of the Bible’s Joseph, king of dreams. Mahoney told WND in an exclusive interview how and why he made the film, “Patterns of Evidence: Exodus”, which is being shown at hundreds of theaters around the U.S. in a special, one-night-only appearance through Fathom Events on Monday, Jan. 19. “Twelve years ago, I started an adventure, a search for the route of the Exodus,” Mahoney told WND. “People were talking, ‘Where is Mt. Sinai, or what sea did they cross?’ I wanted to go on that type of adventure. But when I headed off to Egypt to talk to Egyptologists and scholars, one of them said, ‘What’s the point? Don’t you know the Exodus never happened? There’s no evidence for it.’ “That was news to me,” Mahoney said. “So I went to the location in Egypt where the Israelites were supposed to have settled and I talked to an Egyptologist there, and he told me the same thing: There was no evidence to suggest this story had happened. That led me on this crisis of faith.” Mahoney told WND he returned to the U.S. with a “seed of doubt” growing in his mind about the Bible’s stories, until he spoke to yet another Egyptologist who explained modern archaeology has been looking for Moses in all the wrong places – or more accurately, all the wrong times. “This other Egyptologist said if you dig deeper, below the surface of where people think the Exodus is and you go deeper in time, you will find the story of the Exodus,” Mahoney said. “And that’s what ‘Patterns of Evidence’ has done: It looked for the story and its key events wherever – and whenever – it may be in Egyptian history … and found that there are patterns of evidence, but they’re not showing up where people thought they would be.” Mahoney explained: “Mainstream archaeologists would say that if the Exodus ever happened, it happened at the time of Rameses, because of the biblical text that said the Israelites were building the city of Rameses. Yet when people understood Rameses lived around 1250 B.C., they didn’t find evidence for this type of story in that time period. “But other archaeologists said to look deeper,” he continued. “Beneath the city of Rameses, was another city, much older, called Avaris. And that city was filled with Semitic people. It started very small, just as the Bible says, and over time it grew into one of the largest cities of that time. And that is where we find, I think, the early Israelites. That’s the pattern that matches the story of the Bible. It’s not at the time of Rameses, but it’s at the location of Rameses.” Archaeological dig site at location believed to be home of ancient Israelite slaves in Egypt Mahoney also told WND about one of the biggest surprises revealed by “Patterns of Evidence: Exodus” – a statue of a Semitic leader in Egypt, a man who may be none other than the Bible’s Joseph. “The story of Joseph tells of how he was sold as a slave and came into Egypt and then he rose to become this leader, second in command in Egypt,” Mahoney told WND. “Well, in Avaris, the archaeology shows a small group of Semitic-type people came in, and then there’s this house that matches the area where they would have come from. On top of that house a palace was built. They had tombs behind this palace. And this palace had a statue, and it was the tomb of a Semitic leader. “The interesting thing is this statue found in the remainder of this tomb, a pyramid tomb – which was only given to royalty types – why did a Semitic character have this?” Mahoney asked. “What some people are saying is that this matches the story, maybe that prestige that Joseph would have received.” The research team also discovered another biblical parallel. “In the biblical story, Joseph said his bones should be removed when they left Egypt,” Mahoney recalled. “When the archaeologists uncovered this [semitic leader's tomb], a very unusual thing was discovered: There were no bones in this tomb. The bones were gone. Grave robbers never take the bones; they just take the goods, the bones have no value.” Could the missing bones be yet another confirmation the Semitic leader was Joseph? Watch the trailer for “Patters of Evidence: Exodus” below: Despite Mahoney’s discoveries, however, the filmmaker told WND it’s important to understand “Patterns of Evidence: Exodus” isn’t a Christian or Jewish apologetic, so much as an effort to encourage archaeologists to examine the evidence anew. “I didn’t go with a preconceived conclusion, but I was willing to give the Bible the benefit of the doubt as we searched for the truth,” Mahoney said. “I went to the top people in the world and said, ‘Tell me what you know about this story and what does the archaeology tell you.’ I talked with both sides – people who can’t see any evidence for Exodus and people who see the evidence. It became a balanced approach.” The result, he explained, is not only a movie that is winning awards for its quality of filmmaking, but also a project that is impressing the experts. “I’ve been pleasantly surprised,” Mahoney said of the reaction to his film. “When I showed it to scholars, I’ve had Dr. Walt Keiser, formerly president of Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, who has endorsed the project and worked on Zondervan’s NIV Archaeological Study Bible, say he thought this film was important and very well done. Norm Geisler and Joseph Holden, who together wrote ‘The Popular Handbook of Archeology and the Bible,’ say this is a game-changer that helps to spell out where these patterns are. These scholars have really embraced it.” Even secular scholars, Mahoney said, have said the film was “one of the best they’ve seen” on this topic: “They don’t necessarily agree with everything. They won’t like potential conclusions of the film, but I think they’ll appreciate the investigation.” Mahoney on site in Egypt For Mahoney, the film is about an honest search for truth and letting believers know that it’s OK to ask the tough questions about their faith. “It’s important that [Exodus] has a historical grounding to it,” Mahoney told WND. “If this history isn’t true, if it’s just an allegory, it’s a house of cards. The rest of the stories in Bible are built on these stories. Even Jesus talks about Moses, the apostle Paul, they reference it. If you don’t have a historical Exodus, then what happens to a historical Jesus? It’s all connected. “What we’re having right now is people who are aggressively saying these are fairy tales,” Mahoney said. “The question I raise is, ‘Are they really? How do we know? Why are you saying that?’ When I went and investigated for the last 12 years with my team, we found, wait a minute – there is evidence for this story. So don’t just say this little narrow window of time is all we can look at. There are patterns of archaeological evidence that fit this story of Exodus like a hand in a glove.”
  17. "Truth can only be found in the bibles teachings, why? It’s the only source not of this world!" EXACTLY! Thank you Fly
  18. Eagerly awaiting my Saviours return! Love and blessings to all in Yahushua/Jesus!
  19. Playing nice here! All is well and good. Blessings in Yahushua!
  20. Thanks for making me laugh! Really kind of ironic that the last name of this kid just happened to be Malarkey when he and his family were spreading exactly that. The end result of this scenerio though speaks volumes... YHWHs/Gods truth always prevails!
  21. Thanks so much! I do drink just the Braggs apple cider vinegar on a regular basis. I don't get the flu and when on the rare occasion I feel like I may be coming down with something i drink it right away and never end up getting sick so, just the apple cider vinegar alone helps a lot. Not a big fan of hot peppers even though I know they are benificial. Wonder if there is a good substitute for the peppers? Mybe just try a more mellow pepper for me anyway LOL.
  22. Duke Still Holding Muslim Services and Call to Pray on Chapel Grounds Posted on January 17, 2015by Michael Ware Well, if you thought that it was over at Duke you were wrong. Friday, as the school had previously announced, there was a call to prayer. The call did not come from the chapel bell tower, but from the chapel steps. This in some people’s eyes counted as a victory for those faithful to Christ. They felt that it had been inappropriate that they were having a Muslim call to prayer from a Christian chapel. They were right to think it was wrong, but they were wrong to think it was a victory. As I reported Thursday, the school has hosted the Friday prayer for two years. This prayer, called the jummah, is announced with a song in Arabic called the adhan. According to Christian news, the call to prayer says: “I bear witness that there is none worthy of being worshiped except Allah. … I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. … Allah is most great.” This adhan was still performed, and the jummah was still attended. The Muslims continue to hold services on the grounds of a Christian chapel. Nothing changed. The only real difference is that the Muslim performing the adhan has changed locations. Instead of the chapel tower he will chant on the chapel steps. The reason for this change is the mass of calls by many of the alumni. There were also threats of violence that the school called “credible.” Meaning, they considered the threat to be real and was not idle. Michael Schoenfeld, vice president for public affairs and government relations, gave this reasoning for the change. “Duke remains committed to fostering an inclusive, tolerant and welcoming campus for all of its students,” wrote in a statement. “However, it was clear that what was conceived as an effort to unify was not having the intended effect.” The issue now is that as we face violence from Muslims around the world, we have people in our society who want to “charm the snake,” as it were. Approximately 100 Muslims attended the jummah Friday. But they were not alone. According to reports, another 300 non-Muslim supporters arrived. Many of the students were professing Christians. They came out not to pray, but to show that they support the University’s original decision to have the adhan performed from the bell tower. “Christians are called to be people of peace,” Sarah Martindell, a third-year-graduate student who held a sign that read “Duke Divinity Supports You,” told the Religion News Service. “This demonstrates our solidarity with our Muslim neighbors.” It was also reported that: “In an impromptu prelude Friday, singer Richard Phillips, a Duke sophomore and a Christian, joined cellist Matthew Bunyi, a grad student and a Muslim, in a heartfelt performance of Ben E. King’s soul classic ‘Stand By Me,’” the News & Observer reported. “Members of the crowd, some holding signs that announced their support for the Muslim students, clapped and sang along.” I am sure it was both “impromptu and heartfelt,” but for Christians it should be disturbing. As I wrote the original report on this controversy, I could not help but wonder what the founder of the Methodist movement in England, John Wesely would have thought of Muslims holding prayer service in a Christian chapel. I do not think Rev. Wesley would be holding a sign supporting the Muslims. One minister is reported as saying: “I think John Wesley would be turning over in his grave,” one minister told Todd Starnes of Fox News. “This is certainly not the Methodism of John Wesley—a faith that was firmly founded on the Bible.” I do not know about the turning over in his grave, but he would not be happy. I think he would have wept. God help us.
  23. Russia Just Pulled Itself Out Of The Petrodollar By Tyler Durden Global Research, January 16, 2015 Back in November, before most grasped just how serious the collapse in crude was (and would become, as well as its massive implications), we wrote “How The Petrodollar Quietly Died, And Nobody Noticed“, because for the first time in almost two decades, energy-exporting countries would pull their “petrodollars” out of world markets in 2015. This empirical death of Petrodollar followed years of windfalls for oil exporters such as Russia, Angola, Saudi Arabia and Nigeria. Much of that money found its way into financial markets, helping to boost asset prices and keep the cost of borrowing down, through so-called petrodollar recycling. We added that in 2014 “the oil producers will effectively import capital amounting to $7.6 billion. By comparison, they exported $60 billion in 2013 and $248 billion in 2012, according to the following graphic based on BNP Paribas calculations.” The problem was compounded by its own positive feedback loop: as the last few weeks vividly demonstrated, plunging oil would lead to a further liquidation in foreign reserves for the oil exporters who rushed to preserve their currencies, leading to even greater drops in oil as the viable producers rushed to pump out as much crude out of the ground as possible in a scramble to put the weakest producers out of business, and to crush marginal production. Call it Game Theory gone mad and on steroids. Ironically, when the price of crude started its self-reinforcing plunge, such a death would happen whether the petrodollar participants wanted it, or, as the case may be, were dragged into the abattoir kicking and screaming. It is the latter that seems to have taken place with the one country that many though initially would do everything in its power to have an amicable departure from the Petrodollar and yet whose divorce from the USD has quickly become a very messy affair, with lots of screaming and the occasional artillery shell. As Bloomberg reports Russia “may unseal its $88 billion Reserve Fund and convert some of its foreign-currency holdings into rubles, the latest government effort to prop up an economy veering into its worst slump since 2009.” These are dollars which Russia would have otherwise recycled into US denominated assets. Instead, Russia will purchase even more Rubles and use the proceeds for FX and economic stabilization purposes. “Together with the central bank, we are selling a part of our foreign-currency reserves,” Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said in Moscow today. “We’ll get rubles and place them in deposits for banks, giving liquidity to the economy.” Call it less than amicable divorce, call it what you will: what it is, is Russia violently leaving the ranks of countries that exchange crude for US paper. More: Russia may convert as much as 500 billion rubles from one of the government’s two sovereign wealth funds to support the national currency, Siluanov said, calling the ruble “undervalued.” The Finance Ministry last month started selling foreign currency remaining on the Treasury’s accounts. The entire 500 billion rubles or part of the amount will be converted in January-February through the central bank, according to Deputy Finance Minister Alexey Moiseev. The Bank of Russia will determine the timing and method of the operation. The ruble, the world’s second-worst performing currency last year, weakened for a fourth day, losing 1.3 percent to 66.0775 against the dollar by 3:21 p.m. in Moscow. It trimmed a drop of as much as 2 percent after Siluanov’s comments. The ruble’s continued slump this year underscores the fragility of coordinated measures by Russia’s government and central bank that steered the ruble’s rebound from a record-low intraday level of 80.10 on Dec. 16. OAO Gazprom and four other state-controlled exporters were ordered last month to cut foreign-currency holdings by March 1 to levels no higher than they were on Oct. 1. The central bank sought to make it easier for banks to access dollars and euros while raising its key rate to 17 percent, the emergency level it introduced last month to arrest the ruble collapse. Today’s announcement “looks ruble-supportive, as together with state-driven selling from exporters it would support FX supply on the market,” Dmitry Polevoy, chief economist for Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States at ING Groep NV in Moscow, said by e-mail. “Also, it will be helpful for banks, while there might be some negative effects related to extra money supply and risks of using some of the money on the FX market for short-term speculations. Bloomberg’s dready summary of the US economy is generally spot on, and is to be expected when any nation finally leaves, voluntarily or otherwise, the stranglehold of a global reserve currency. What Bloomberg failed to account for is what happens to the remainder of the Petrodollar world. Here is what we said last time: Outside from the domestic economic impact within EMs due to the downward oil price shock, we believe that the implications for financial market liquidity via the reduced recycling of petrodollars should not be underestimated. Because energy exporters do not fully invest their export receipts and effectively ‘save’ a considerable portion of their income, these surplus funds find their way back into bank deposits (fuelling the loan market) as well as into financial markets and other assets. This capital has helped fund debt among importers, helping to boost overall growth as well as other financial markets liquidity conditions. … [T]his year, we expect that incremental liquidity typically provided by such recycled flows will be markedly reduced, estimating that direct and other capital outflows from energy exporters will have declined by USD253bn YoY. Of course, these economies also receive inward capital, so on a net basis, the additional capital provided externally is much lower. This year, we expect that net capital flows will be negative for EM, representing the first net inflow of capital (USD8bn) for the first time in eighteen years. This compares with USD60bn last year, which itself was down from USD248bn in 2012. At its peak, recycled EM petro dollars amounted to USD511bn back in 2006. The declines seen since 2006 not only reflect the changed global environment, but also the propensity of underlying exporters to begin investing the money domestically rather than save. The implications for financial markets liquidity – not to mention related downward pressure on US Treasury yields – is negative. Considering the wildly violent moves we have seen so far in the market confirming just how little liquidity is left in the market, and of course, the absolutely collapse in Treasury yields, with the 30 Year just hitting a record low, this prediction has been borne out precisely as expected. And now, we await to see which other country will follow Russia out of the Petrodollar next, and what impact that will have not only on the world’s reserve currency, on US Treasury rates, and on the most financialized commodity as this chart demonstrates… … but on what is most important to developed world central planners everywhere: asset prices levels, and specifically what happens when the sellers emerge into what is rapidly shaping up as the most illiquid market in history.
  24. Bestselling Book Pulled by Publisher as ‘Boy Who Came Back from Heaven’ Recants Story January 16, 2015 | Filed under: Life & Society,Top Stories | By: Heather Clark CAROL STREAM, Ill. – The publishers of A bestselling book written by a then-ten-year-old boy who claimed he “came back from heaven” have pulled the book from publication after the boy announced this week that he lied about his story and called upon Christians to repent for buying into “heavenly tourism.” “I did not die. I did not go to Heaven,” Alex Malarkey, co-author of “The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven,” wrote in an open letter. “I said I went to heaven because I thought it would get me attention.” “When I made the claims that I did, I had never read the Bible,” he continued. “People have profited from lies, and continue to. They should read the Bible, which is enough. The Bible is the only source of truth. Anything written by man cannot be infallible.” Malarkey had been involved in a car accident at the age of six, and was in a coma for two months. His book, published by Tyndale in 2010 and co-written with his father, claims that he died and went to heaven, having encounters with angels and ultimately meeting Jesus. The book reached bestseller status, and a documentary was also released about Malarkey’s story. Christian reviewers gave the book high marks. But Malarkey’s admission that the story was fabricated isn’t necessarily new. Last spring, Malarkey’s mother wrote in a blog post that she had concerns about the book’s continued proliferation as her son had confessed that the book was unbiblical. “It is both puzzling and painful to watch the book ‘The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven’ not only continue to sell, but to continue, for the most part, to not be questioned,” Beth Malarkey wrote in a post entitled “The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven…Not Quite.” “Alex’s name and identity are being used against his wishes (I have spoken before and posted about it that Alex has tried to publicly speak out against the book), on something that he is opposed to and knows to be in error according to the Bible.” “When Alex first tried to tell a ‘pastor’ how wrong the book was and how it needed stopped, Alex was told that the book was blessing people,” she continued. “[but] Alex did not write the book and it is not blessing him! Saying that it is blessing others to try to justify its wrong is just that … justification of wrong!” Malarkey and her husband have since divorced following the publishing of the book. “I want the whole world to know that the Bible is sufficient,” a now teenage Alex Malarkey wrote in his open letter this week. “Those who market these materials must be called to repent and hold the Bible as enough.” Following his admission, Tyndale House Publishers informed reporters late Thursday that it would no longer publish “The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven.” “Tyndale has decided to take the book and related ancillary products out of print,” Todd Starowitz, public relations director for Tyndale House told the Washington Post. Lifeway Christian Stores, one of the nation’s largest Christian retail chains, also announced Thursday that it will pull the book from its shelves and send its copies back to Tyndale. “LifeWay was informed this week that Alex Malarkey has retracted his testimony about visiting heaven as told in the book ‘The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven.’ Therefore, we are returning to the publisher the few copies we have in our stores,” it wrote in a statement. “Christian publishers and retailers should have known better,” wrote the blog Pulpit & Pen, which first released Malarkey’s open letter this week. “They should have had the spiritual discernment, wisdom, compassion, and intestinal fortitude to not sell a book which contains, along with all books like it, deep theological problems.” “It also doesn’t help that in what is purported to be a ‘true story’ that there are vivid descriptions like ‘The devil’s mouth is funny looking, with only a few moldy teeth. And I’ve never noticed any ears. His body has a human form, with two bony arms and two bony legs. He has no flesh on his body, only some moldy stuff.'” I BELIEVE THAT THERE WAS ALSO A MOVIE MADE BASED ON THIS BOOK/STORY... i PERSONALLLY NEVER BELIEVED THIS STORY OR ANY OF THE NUMEROUS OTHER ACCOUNTS BY PEOPLE ABOUT DYING AND GOING TO HEAVEN AND THEN RETURNING. I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY A NON BELIEVER WOULD FALL INTO THIS KIND OF THINKING BUT, I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THOSE WHO SAY THEY ARE BELIEVERS FALL FOR THIS CRAP. IT SIMPLY DOES NOT JIVE WITH THE WORD OF YHWH/GOD AND PEOPLE WHO ARE TRUE BELIEVERS SHOULD BE READING THIER BIBLES AND THEN THEY WOULD KNOW THIS. REMEMBER HOW INNOCENT SATAN MADE IT SEEM FOR EVE TO EAT OF THE FRUIT THAT YHWH SO CLEARLY COMMANDED HER AND ADAM NOT TO? HE USED HIS CUNNING ABLITY WHICH EQUALED ONLY A SUTTLE DECEPTION TO TRICK THEM AND OTHERS IN MOST CASES. DO YOU THINK HE HAS NOT PERFECTED HIS CRAFT AFTER ALL THESE THOUSANDS OF YEARS OF PRACTICING ON US? THE ONLY ONE HE HAS NEVER BEEN ABLE TO DECEIVE ON THIS EARTH IS YAHUSHU/JESUS, BECAUSE HE KNEW THE FATHER'S WORD AND WALKED IN THE SPIRIT! ALL OF THIS MIXING OF NEW AGE BELIEFS WITH THE TRUE WORD IS NOTHING NEW... NEW AGE IS NOTHING MORE THAN A GLAMOUR SHOT OF PAGANISM. ALL OF THESE PROCLAIMING CHRISTIANS PROFESSING THAT THEY BELIEVE IN YAHUSHUA/JESUS AND THEN BELIEVING SOMETHING LIKE THIS OR OTHER THINGS LIKE DIVINATION OR THAT THEY WILL SEE NO TRIBULATION, OR DOING THINGS LIKE COMMUNICATING WITH GHOSTS/SPIRITS, OR THINKING THAT YOU GO STRAIGHT TO HELL OR HEAVEN RIGHT WHEN YOU DIE, ETC. ETC... THESE ARE ALL DEFLECTIONS OF THE TRUTH. YHWH/GOD GAVE US HIS WORD TO PROTECT US FROM THESE DECEPTIONS AND ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS READ IT, FOLLOW IT, AND BELIEVE IT... EVERYTHING WE NEED TO KNOW IS THERE. WE JUST HAVE TO SEEK IT. WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE WORD OF YHWH/GOD WE CAN OVERCOME ANYTHING AND WE CAN SEE EVIL EVEN WHEN IT COMES DISGUISED AS A LITTLE BOY TELLING A SWEET STORY. I AM SO HAPPY THAT THIS BOY FOUND THE TRUE LIVING YHWH/GOD AND HIS WORD AND REVEALED THE TRUTH.
