Why haven't all these countries rv'd their currencies and saved their economies and their people? Oh right they could magically but they just haven't yet. Well let's hope they get around to it before everyone starves to death like people are in Venezuela.

If they have anywhere from $10 Trillion to $30 Trillion dinar and an rv goes to a dime to a dollar where will Iraq who has less than $60Billion in reserves get the money to exchange all those dinars out there for dollars?? They can't just magically increase the worth of their currency. Otherwise every country in the world would have already done it and paid off all their debts. The USA has $20Trillion in debt. Why don't they do it?? Venezuella who is bankrupt and people are starving would just revalue their currenty to become rich. If Iraq could simply rv why doesn't Venezuella do that to revive their horrible condition? I'm looking for real answers.

Not sure how you make the leap that a large note will be worth $100,000. Doesn't it seem logical that if they don't move the decimal point 3 places but instead delete 3 zeros from the notes that the new 50 note will be worth the same as the current 50,000 note? I wish they would be specific about what they mean about deleting the zeros. It appears they are always vague on purpose to keep everyone guessing which way they will go.

They are never clear when mentioning deleting zeros. Are they talking about moving the decimal point 3 places or deleting 3 zeros from the notes. Two completely different things. Wish they were more specific.

As long as corruption runs Iraq you will never see the country make anything of itself. It has nothing but oil to run its economy which isn't enough. The place will be a wasteland for the foreseeable future.

He's right about the nonstop barrage of articles. Been in it for 7 yrs. Reading Scooters wild writings sucked me in, as it was meant to. If you step back and look at it over the years the endless ink keeps flowing and nothing ever changes but the dinar slipping down, gov't corruption is unreal and rampant, ISIS now in the country creating untold violence and destruction, no foreign company wants in, no tourism, oil price dropped in half, borrowing money to keep the country running, currency value dropping, no one recognizes the dinar, now introducing even larger bills. You can count on always another new milestone carrot dangled that has to be achieved before an rv can happen. The only chance they had was when the US occupied and cleaned it up but BO tore that apart by not leaving enough soldiers there to maintain and ISIS was born. The return of chaos was almost instant. Yep, it's the land of going no where.

For the life of me I don't know why the author calls Iraq rich. They can't pump enough oil to even pay their budget. A large percentage of the people live in poverty. They have black outs. There are constant bombings, terrorist attacks. Businesss's don't want to locate there. The dinar is worthless. The politicians are completely and totally corrupt stealing everything not bolted down keeping the govt broke and unable to afford simple infrastructure repairs. An army that is totally incompetent. But they have oil so they must be rich, right. Sure thing.

Instead of attacking Saudi Arabia who funded and supplied the terrorists that crashed into the twin towers and killed 3000 Americans Bush went after Iraq. Then Obummer/Clinton pulls them all out and ISIS is born. What a waste of American lives. A travesty. Bush/Obummer/Clinton should be in jail or worse.

Nothing ever changes here. Baghdad continues to be at odds with the Kurds. Iraq will never get its act together and unite. An RV is out of the question. There isn't even enough money to run the country much less do anything else. This place continues to act like a bunch of little brainless selfish kids.

Iraq remains in chaos for the foreseeable future.
