  1. Any article that has to start with this is as believable as a 5 year old with his hand in the cookie jar! As a library, NLM provides access to scientific literature. Inclusion in an NLM database does not imply endorsement of, or agreement with, the contents by NLM or the National Institutes of Health.
  2. Neither would a radical right wing organization give false information or shade on something. Founder of America’s Frontline Doctors is sentenced to prison for role in Capitol riot Simone Gold, a Beverly Hills physician who founded a doctors’ organisation that challenged pandemic public health measures and promoted unproven covid therapies, has been sentenced to 60 days in prison by a US federal court in Washington, DC, for illegally entering the US Capitol building during the riot on 6 January 2021. Gold came to prominence in July 2020 with a viral video introducing America’s Frontline Doctors on the steps of the US Supreme Court. Seven white coated physicians denounced lockdowns and masks, questioned the utility of vaccines, and touted the benefits of hydroxychloroquine, a drug which had recently been endorsed by Donald Trump. Most of the organisation had no experience treating covid patients, but Gold was then a working emergency department physician. https://www.bmj.com/content/377/bmj.o1533 Glad your daughter had a good outcome.
  3. You due realize the article you posted say’s there is no such thing as VAIDS. 🤔
  4. I guess they think anyone who still has a flip phone ain’t worth it!😂
  5. Well my phone still works……………but my dog is missing………🤔
  6. Nothing like a good conspiracy theory to get the old blood moving!
  7. Let me clarify so you understand. I have never once had to wait to start charging. 15 minutes ain’t going to kill the supply chain. Many many ways to make up 15 minutes. Use the 30 minutes as the mandatory time you got to take a break after 8 hours of driving. Make the 11 hour rule, 11 hour and 15 minutes. You stop after 14 hours charge up for the next day just like you do now to fuel up. 500 miles at a constant 65MPH is 7.7 hours anyway. 8 hours of drive time truckers are required to take a 30 minute break. But you know all this………..You just didn’t think I did.
  8. We aren’t going to electric Trucks tomorrow. It has taken Tesla 20 years to get to where it is today with private cars. It will take another 20 years or so to see any kind of electric commercial truck fleets so there won’t be any supply chain catastrophe. Or waiting in line. I’ve had an electric car for over three years now. Never once have I waited to charge. We won’t be around but your kids and grandkids will. They will be witnesses to the change coming. We are relics. Just like the horse and buggy gave away to the combustion engine. The combustion engine will give away to something else. It’s coming whether you or I like it or not.
  9. Will cost approximately $30 to charge a semi truck to get 500 mile range. Vs( and I’m guessing here) A fully loaded diesel truck would run through $400 in fuel for the same 500 miles? I defer to MLD on that one.
  10. The topic says it all but here you go. Trump Floats the Idea of Executing Joint Chiefs Chairman Milley The former president is inciting violence against the nation’s top general. America’s response is distracted and numb. By Brian Klaas Brendan Smialowski / AFP / Getty SEPTEMBER 25, 2023 Produced by ElevenLabs and NOA, News Over Audio, using AI narration. Late Friday night, the former president of the United States—and a leading candidate to be the next president—insinuated that America’s top general deserves to be put to death. That extraordinary sentence would be unthinkable in any other rich democracy. But Donald Trump, on his social-media network, Truth Social, wrote that Mark Milley’s phone call to reassure China in the aftermath of the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021, was “an act so egregious that, in times gone by, the punishment would have been DEATH.” (The phone call was, in fact, explicitly authorized by Trump-administration officials.) Trump’s threats against Milley came after The Atlantic’s publication of a profile of Milley, by this magazine’s editor in chief Jeffrey Goldberg, who detailed the ways in which Milley attempted to protect the Constitution from Trump. And yet, none of the nation’s front pages blared “Trump Suggests That Top General Deserves Execution” or “Former President Accuses General of Treason.” Instead, the post barely made the news. Most Americans who don’t follow Trump on social media probably don’t even know it happened. Trump’s rhetoric is dangerous, not just because it is the exact sort that incites violence against public officials but also because it shows just how numb the country has grown toward threats more typical of broken, authoritarian regimes. 11. Nice article from 2015………….however it’s just a one year snapshot. Look at the graphs from the article below from the same place you got your article. One year doesn’t make a trend Ice Sheets Key Takeaway: Antarctica is losing ice mass (melting) at an average rate of about 150 billion tons per year, and Greenland is losing about 270 billion tons per year, adding to sea level rise. https://climate.nasa.gov/vital-signs/ice-sheets/
  12. Scientific information taken from natural sources (such as ice cores, rocks, and tree rings) and from modern equipment (like satellites and instruments) all show the signs of a changing climate. From global temperature rise to melting ice sheets, the evidence of a warming planet abounds. Except for some
