Yeah, there isn't anything to do in Cloudcroft other than play golf. I haven't been to Santino's. I'll check it out the next time I'm in town. My favorite restaurant in Ruidoso is Cafe Rio. Me too! I've spent many moons in Ruidoso. dhardage, Cruise over to Cloudcroft. Rebecca's at the Lodge is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Book a room for the night. There isn't a casino in Cloudcroft but i'm sure you and your hubby can figure out something fun to do after dinner. LOL!

I spoke with a Branch Manager of a Wells Fargo branch in Garland, Texas several months ago. She told me the same thing. She said that Wells Fargo will not be dealing with Dinar. If I can't find a local bank that will cash me out I plan to go out to DFW aiport. I'm sure Travelex, the currency exchange office, will be happy to help me.

Iraq will RV way before Vietnam will. Iraq has Oil, Vietnam has nothing IMO. My biggest client is Vietnamese. The country is stagnant and not moving in a positive direction as Iraq has. Just my thoughts, we will stay tuned.

Your question is redundant. Make an estimated tax payment of 35% to cover your potential liability. That's what I plan to do. If I get a refund, that's great. If I owe a few bucks so what. In the end you will have shown your due diligence to pay your taxes in a timely manner without penalty.

I agree with you. It's best to exchange currency at an international airport. The spread should be less than 5% in my opinion.

I really hate to be the author of bad news. The purported bank stories are in my opinion false. Trust me, I have pounded the pavement in the Dallas area speaking with Branch Managers.
