Being that this is all speculation, I think it would be fun to get people to guess on a date and rate and why. Any takers? I figure the rumors thread is a good place for this because your estimates and reasonings will be better and more reasonable than any of the gurus with all there fake Intel. Have some fun with it:)

I finally got in touch with a guy who was a foreign exchange student at my school. I talked to him a little bit about how many people outside of Iraq were buying dinar and why. He has not heard a single mention of a possible unprecedented jump in his countries currency. My question is "how is it possible that regular citizens of Iraq can be clueless about this, if its on the up and up? Any feedback would be appreciated

I think a few of us should get into the dinar selling business. We could get together and make up crazy sh*t and probably make some good money in the meantime.

I talked to my brother, who is a first lieutenant currently serving in Iraq. He said this rumor is 100% not true. Sorry folks. He is not a believer in this investment, but said if this was going on, he would know about it. His name is Matthew Barnes, if anyone wants to send him a care package:)

Although I believe we still have quite a bit of time before we see the rv, if something happens to prove me wrong in the near future, I would be delighted. In the meantime we all need to plan for what to do in order to protect and grow the wealth this may generate. When the time comes I will put out a post with plenty of options that folks can do themselves without having to pay other financial advisors like myself a hefty sum of money. I would love to here what others are planning on doing. I hope I have posted this in the correct spot. I'm new to the posting aspect of this speculatory investment.

I can't help but laugh at these responses. A rumor is nothing more than an opinion. If I would have said that the rv is going to happen Tuesday at 4.25 and that my cousins old roommate who now works for the cbi, people would be excited or call me a pumper:). I guess a little realism strikes some nerves. Relax folks it may happen sooner.

Folks we still need a few things to happen before we see any change in the value of the dinar. Ministry positions HAVE to be filled, sanctions have to be 100% resolved. Once these have been taken care of, common sense tells us they will need atleast several months up to a year or better to revalue anywhere near where we all hope they do. I'll predict June of next year at a realistic rate of .35
