I agree Easy. It's my thought that the IQD will RV at 1 to 1 and gradually increase if Iraq can actually get their country back on it's feet., as we all hope. In any event, if the RV does comes out 1 to 1 I plan to cash out, pay my taxes and move on. Peace out guys! Ski

It appears that the Yuan is not internationally traded as the prior posts have suggested. If China is the super power in the global economy why would their currency not be traded internationally? Any thoughts?

The only way in hell I will buy a copy of the book is if the proceeds from the sales go to the Iraqi people, assuming the book makes it to press. I would never consider lining the pockets of Saddam's family so they can continue their extravagant lives in Jordan. I would be curious to read the book though. Might have to check it out from the library.

I've had the same question as to where Iraq is going to come up with all the cash they are spending when their currency is in the trash. I don't have the answer though I do have suspicions. Go RV!!!

I agree. Iraq has much potential though the country has many obstacles that they must overcome. I read about it everyday. My concern is Iran, specifically, Ahmadinejad. He is nothing more than an evil soul. He reminds me of Sadaam Hussein. It is my hope that we will make a few bucks with this investment and the Iraqi people will live a prosperous life. Remember, it's not always about us.

There will be no LOP IMO. Think about it this way. Say the US was in a similar situation that Iraq is in now. Do you honestly believe that the UST would drop two 00s of a $100.00 bill deducing it to the value of $1.00? The worst case scenario in my mind is that we will see a 1 to 1 RV with the IQD increasing in value as Iraq progresses. Btw, I do not purport to be an expert in this matter. Nor should anyone else.
