Yep its one big CLOWN show! This issue along with the HCL always being delayed shows how brutal this country is.................no wonder nothing is getting done. No seated GOI and NO HCL = NO chapter 7 being lifted and NO RV its that simple. sigh.........................we wait some more again! Well this is the best news today......after nothing about chapter 7 this morning? If the GOI is fully seated then we are waiting on news regarding the HCL and IMHO the remainder of chapter 7 sanctions in respect to Kuwait issues being resolved! Common get these done now! GO RV!!!

He is an investor with an opinion. He offers others who have doubts to invest in other ways to diversify there dinar investments. LOP believers purchase lower denoms. He said himself 90% he owns 25K notes and 10% are in lower denoms. He also suggested to open a Warka account to also have electronic dinar before it RV's. Things to consider regarding the it factor: 1. Inflation is on the rise......bondlady pointed it out. CBI posted the change a couple of days ago. 2. Dealers are selling more of the lower denominations(50-250-500-1000) for even more $ now because they can no longer get the larger ones as they are being "lifted" off the market in Iraq. (no confirmation of this but its just assumed and the dinar market reflects this) 3. If they were going to LOP then the large bills would still be in use and they would continue to use them. $1000 US bills are still legal tender but are not in circulation. 4. Repeated many times by the CBI over and over in many articles that they want to raise the value of the dinar. IMHO : make your own conclusions based on facts and don't worry about words like (Deleting/raising/lopping/removing the zeros), there have been so many articles about this topic as you can see it can make your head spin Regardless the RV will happen and we will no the truth what they meant!

Hi all interesting news from the DD site: MAY 31ST, 2011 11:49 PM · POSTED IN NEWS (IRAQ & WORLD CURRENCY) The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) and the Ministry of Finance indicated that the restructuring of the balance sheets of the two largest state-owned banks, Rafidain Bank and Rasheed Bank, will be completed at the end of June 2011. The restructuring plan is being implemented by a Bank Reconciliation Unit (BRU), chaired by the CBI, with the participation at a technical level of staff from the CBI, the Ministry of Finance and other stakeholders. The BRU’s objectives are to deal with the legacy assets and liabilities of the previous regime to identify and propose to write-off non-performing loans to defunct state-owned enterprises to propose a course of action for other remaining un-reconciled accounts and to revalue the remaining foreign currency denominated balance sheet items. In parallel, the Finance Ministry said it will continue to modernize the two banks by moving ahead with the plans for their operational restructuring, so they can operate on a fully commercial basis and on market terms, and the government will refrain from directing any lending.
