hello adam and mods.... i have a very simple question. why central bank of iraq didn't use all the dfi fund to buy gold for their currency reserve for back-up IQD value like China does now? i think IQD relative value will rise up to the value that can be re-instate back to old value. GOI also can payback the debt using valueable IQD plus back-up with oil that they have. can't you suggest to your contact to suggest to Shabibi this solution? and why Shabibi can't see this type of solution? it will help iraqi citizen and their country so much and will achieve Iraqi PM target to see IQD rise up by iraq economy power..... i hope you and your mod can answer this type of question in next meeting because i think this is the most suitable solution for iraq as now...

how about if IQ used DFI to buy gold like China does and make it to back-up IQD value? IQ also now have surplus in their budget due to the oil price increasing now....

well...in my opinion the best way to restore the country economy with using it to buy all the gold like China does and make it as foreign reserve to back-up their currency..then rv the currency back-up with the gold NOT usd...then they can and enable pay all the debts lump-sum in IQD not other foreign reserve....we can exchange the money maybe at rates that "guru-guru" said. when you add with the fractional banking plus surplus in crude oil in it, iraq will be the richest country in the world...US can pay all the debts.. and the most important thing is we don't have wait too long to bank-in IQD. isn't it nice solution for all people? why Shabibi can't see this? it's too weird...

if straight rv, maybe there will be no time limit for cash-in BUT if ri@rd, there will be time limit. you can see in 2003-2004 when they introducing NIQD (current era) to replace IQD (Saddam era). they gived a period of time to change the notes to Iraqs people....

from my opinion... they will used pegged currency because of their previous record from pre-Saddam era, saddam era until now.....but if they rv low than actual value that they can support then maybe there will be increasing but it will take long time before they reach actual value.....this is because it will affect their trades with other nation just my opinion....
