Tiff I agree with what you have posted, I to have lived overseas and seen what others have thought of the American people (the Ugly American) they have reasons to beleive that saying. I have always tried to obey the customs of the land I have lived in and it is amazing the amount of help you will get just by trying. Most all of the places I have been I have earned the respect of the people and have tried to help them when I can by asking first, the responses have been from no thank you to yes I need help. What I found is being tolerant of others and respecting them a lot more is accomplished and freinds are made.

Did you know that if you sell your house after 2012 you will pay a 3.8% sales tax on it? That's $3,800 on a $100,000 home, etc. When did this happen? It's in the health care bill and goes into effect in 2013. Why 2013? Could it be to come to light AFTER the 2012 elections? So, this is "change you can believe in"? Under the new health care bill all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax. If you sell a $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. This bill is set to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes. Does this make your November and 2012 vote more important? Oh, you weren't aware this was in the Obamacare bill? Guess what, you aren't alone. There are more than a few members of Congress that aren't aware of it either . I hope you forward this to every single person in your address book. VOTERS NEED TO KNOW .

EagleEye I truelly understand your frustration, I was there for Linebacker II, stationed at NKP with the 40th Aerospace Rescue and Recovery unit the Jolly Greens. I was a PJ and was called a baby killer, war monger and spit at when I came home and could not understand the hostilities that were thrown at me and fellow servicemen and women. My main job was to rescue and treat the wounded and only used force when all else failed. TO ALL THE VETS OUT THERE THANK YOU ONE AND ALL. One thing I enjoy doing is driving through Canada I have noticed if you have Alaska plates you are treated better than the lower 48 people, but that is mostly in the northern areas, must be the weather.

Tiffany and all others I respect everyones rights to beleive what you will. I have 29+ years with the military and have owned weapons from the age of 12 and younger, presently I own 14 and plan on getting more after the RV. I have used these weapons for hunting and target shooting and would not have any problems with defending myself or my family, my wife retired with 33 years of military service and also knows how to shoot she has qualified expert same as my self with the .38 and 9mm. I have been in combat in Vietnam (north and south), will I give up my rights to own of use a firearm NO. There seems to be a lot of problems in the countries that have foresworn the use of firearms. I will agree that they are used in crime but so are knives and othe types of weapons form sticks to what ever. Is there a perfect solution NO and neve will be until all people learn to live in peace and all crime is abolished by everyone will this happen NO again the only perfect place that this will happen will be when God calls us all and sorts us allout to His design. And I will give up my weapons when they pry them from my cold and dead hands.
