Don't claim to be a Guru or an expert but if Donald Trump, Hilary, or any of elected officials that are or were serving in the US Government bought it would be, or I am pretty sure it would be insider trading. USG employees in the "know" would have access and may have been briefed on the plans so my thought is the articles are fake news by pumpers. Thanks Dinar Buddy, People on here don't want to hear that this may not happen. I have been invested for sometime many many years, but treated my investment like I was going to Las Vegas. I took what I could afford to lose, not to be confused with that I wanted to lose. I bet it and if this happens great, if it doesn't then I wish I had gone to Vegas at least there I would have had some fun. People that lashout at you are the ones with the head in the sand and just don't want to hear that this might not actually happen. For 10 years maybe more people have been being sucked into this investment, and the guru's always claim next week, oops, Sunday, after chapter 7, after the ebril, after the sun comes up and finally the one I love the most is its already happened and we missed it. I have asked some high ranking people in Washington DC, and people that might actually know something about this from the World Bank, IMF, to "boots on the ground". Here is what they say. "I bought some hearing the same things your are, but I don't think it will happen. The Dinar may increase overtime but I don't think it will ever be placed at a 1:1 or 3:1 but you never know and hence why I bought some". As long as this is your view on life you should be good because your not losing your house, car, or anything of real importance if you bet what you could spare. USARMY, Here is my take. First Jay is correct about a reevaluation in the next 30 days. It is the safest bet in the world. Its safe because 10000's of people have been waiting for as long as 10 years and it hasn't happened yet. What Jay's short-sided article fails to acknowledge or understand, is that IRAQ is only borrowing money today because they are forced to by the chaper 7 and the stranglehold the United Nations has placed on them. You have to be a blooming idiot to think once Chapter 7 is lifted that Iraq will not become a thriving nation and possibly one of the richest in the world with trillions of dollars worth of oil. They have more then Kuwait, IRAN, and others combined. Now with that said, I only invested what I was willing to lose. If I went to Vegas tomorrow I would bet the same amount and if I lost it, I might not be happy about it but I also would not lose sleep over it. Now I don't know if this will revalue or not, nor does Jay! The one thing I do know is IRAQ is going to be a good investment, could be in the next 5 days, 30 days, 1 year or 10 years only time will tell. So don't bet more then your willing to lose. Hello, First I am pretty sure when United Nations forces nations like IRAQ into embargo, or limits it from trading and selling its goods the ISO code is suppended/revoked. Which is why dinar are not tradable or at least recognized outside of IRAQ. So if this is true it doesn't automatically mean a RD. It just means that IQD is now recognized again or will be shortly (I hope). Now if they issue IQF (for franc) then the assumptions would be correct and our Dinar are or will be worthless. I find it hard to believe that ISO would issue anything but IQD. The one thing I have learned is take everything stated here with a huge salt shacker assuming its not true hence the rumors section. So if Frank is saying a new ISO Code does he mean New or the old one reissued. Only time will tell and my bet is the old one reissued. Eagle007 out.

hate to break the news to you but De La Ru machines are used in some of the banks in the U.S. and are not only used for IQD. So your question was not dumb. The machines are used to count and detect fake bills in many currencies. So the fact that your bank may or may not have them is not important. The real question is are they IQD machines. too many people are caught up on my branch is getting one without asking the correct question. There are only two choices here: 1. focus internally and bar new Iranians from coming to this country to thrawt terrorism. 2. Aqua Dude, Remember those that don't understand history are destine to repeat it! As some members stated the US in 1864 had denominations of 500 1000, 10,000 in about 1969 those were taken out of circulation. The larger bill were originally created to help promote and handle bank transfers (i will append the article below). We have come a long way since 1969 with bank transfers therefore very large notes are not needed to handle transfers. In addition how many store either in the US or anywhere in the world would be able to cash a "25,000" bill? Now look at today; if that bill is now worth more in other currencies like the dollar (anywhere from 1:1 US dollar to 8:1 LAFMO if I ever see this one) now look at trying to cash this anywhere to include many banks. So phasing out is not just a notion but its required. Not many people will be walking around with $25000 dollar on what I hope is the low-end. Just like the US did the larger bill will come out of circulation and become worthless the question is when. Finally on the LOP vs Devalue who knows. My thought is that there is a language barier which makes it hard to tell if they really plan devalue the larger notes while introducing small denominations or they plan to RI/RV low and introduce new lower bills before they see the real value of their currency hit the market. I never get worked up about LOP because of the language barrier. Could they really mean take out of circulation and replace with 25 note? Only time will tell. you forgot one option in my opinion. The RI which is what Kuwait did under the very same circumstance. The RI stand for Re-Institute the value prior to the embargo/penalty the UN place on IRAQ which kept it from getting money for oil. Then the rate would be in 2.00 to 3.50 range U.S. Never forget that many experts have stated that IRAQ has one of the Healthist currency's. My biggest fear is IRAN and how it plays in whatever happens here. I would have prefered to let Israel deal with the nuclear threat in their backyard.
