Slade, The quanity of the Butt bumps I do believe would stay the same although the velocity would change A butt bump is a butt bump whether it is soft or hard, fast or slow Old Guy This rear leg skids sounds out right dangerous to me and could provide more problems in the END. The way the frog is designed even with the leg skids could cause some mighty harmful landings depending on the velocity. You could still end up with a butt bump but with a slide and skid added in. And what if... there was a pebble or twig on the landing between the skids. These opinions are getting us somewhere. No bashing here intended Slade we are here to help. I kinda agree with you but I don't either. It seems to me even with wings a frog would still hit their butt on the ground when they jumped. Unles their wings were more toward the back or closer to their hind legs than the front legs. Then they would fly with the head hanging down and their butt in the air. This theory is based on disecting a frog in high school. I have been known to be wrong so open to any intelligent opinions on the subject.
