  1. are you seriously complaining about foreigners taking advantage of another country's people/situation? the irony is astounding!
  2. okie finally isn't "in the dark" about being "in the dark".
  3. you are assuming, of course, that it will be on the foreign exchange markets. if they rv low, i am certain that it will not be traded on forex for the reasons that you stated above. remember, governments are in complete control of these currencies. these markets are not "free". you are right on target here, in my opinion. these markets are not "free" and will be manipulated with regulation. i believe that there will be a lop and high rv or a low rv off the market. the currency will be internationally recognized with iraq being a member of the wto, but that doesn't mean you will be able to "freely" trade it on forex just like several other exotic currencies. they are (and will be) in complete control of their money supply.
  4. are you suggesting that the housing market was not a bubble and could have been sustained?
  5. the value of the u.s. dollar is high in the international market? i think it's at all-time lows against every major currency.
  6. it's too late for all of that. the only thing that will save the dollar is ending the two biggest ponzi schemes on earth (ss and medicare), reducing the military to half of its current size, and repealing nationalized healthcare. we, the people, will vote out anyone who tries this, so, in essence, representative democracy will be our downfall.
  7. oh no! you've gotten me completely wrong. i am well aware of the inverse pyramid system called fractional reserve banking and its redistributing effects. i've read murray rothbard, mises, hayek, peter schiff, ron paul, etc. i'm just amazed by our own hypocrisy sometimes, especially when we throw around words like "free enterprise". free markets can't exist when the money supply is controlled and interest rates are fixed by a central bank. at best, we live in hamiltonian capitalism...at worst, some weird form of socialism.
  8. a group of governments driving a country's currency into the ground with military-enforced sanctions so that they can profit from it later is hardly what i would call free enterprise. it is true that money is the engine of society, but when governments have monopolies on the money supply, free enterprise does not and cannot exist.
  9. does no one recognize the irony of this post...on this site...on this subject? everyone on here is trying to make a mint (pun intended) with a manipulated fiat currency held and controlled by a central banking system.
  10. although it is my favorite holiday, halloween isn't any more of a pagan holiday than christmas or easter.
  11. maybe the government shouldn't have spent one trillion dollars policing the world. driving a country's currency into the ground with military-enforced sanctions in order to profit from it is not what i call "free enterprise".
  12. gold is one of the most stable assets the world has ever known. the only thing making gold seem unstable is the instability of all the fiat currencies its price is based on.

    read it

i think there will be a lop and revaluation simultaneously.
  14. judging by the advertisements and the subscription offers, i would certainly consider this site to be more than a courtesy. i think that's okay, though. it's capitalism.
  15. this thread is a microcosm of america. everyone is so envious of each other, everyone gets their feelings hurt so easily, and no one wants to do any real work to become wealthy. this is just my opinion.
  16. the ratings you got are a good example of why the idea of banning people with negative reputations won't work well. these posters will just want to ban whomever has an opinion in opposition to their points. don't smart investors want as many viewpoints as possible?
