  2. From PD (Don't know who that is) I sit on a board with 8 CEO's and CFO's whom are heavily invested in the IQD. I'm going to share with you a few things that were discussed and passed around for comment. Here is what they know and see firsthand as to why they are convinced we are at the point of NO return. 1. High security alert in Iraq - CONFIRMED 2. Dignitaries (High ranking officers) have arrived for a special announcement - CONFIRMED 3. Banks put on notice a week ago (influx of cash on hand) no other reason for additional cash but - CONFIRMED 4. staging areas throughout Iraq for the purpose of a historic announcement - CONFIRMED 5. CBI bank has relocated to it's new bank building, new computers, software, latest high-tech security in place - CONFIRMED 6. Vice-President Joe Biden arrival for announcement, they could not confirm 7. Kurds now pumping and drilling oil - CONFIRMED 8. The CEO's truly believe the GOI was and has already been seated 9. The CEO's truly believe the budget has been read twice and does not have to be read the 3d time in order to R.V. 10. The lower denominations are in the banks and ATM's ready for disbursement Now I will explain what all of this means to the CEO's: Could you possibly imagine the involvement in staging an event of this magnitude not taking into account all the dignitaries who were invited to attend this historic announcement and all issues mentioned above have been put in place and they don't execute the R.V.? The embarrassment to Iraq and it's Gov't would be the final blow in front of the entire world. We can't imagine even though this is Iraq, they would substantiate the fact they really are not capable of engaging and demonstrating themselves as being competent to protect and care for the Iraqi people. Here are the CEO's final thoughts, this train is coming to a complete STOP, and Iraq will R.V. in the coming week. Prepare yourselves; I believe this in the end of our roller coaster ride! My prayers are with the Iraqi people that the CEO's are 100% correct! "GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM" That was what the E-mail said, I don't know who wrote it, I don't know who the CEO's are, I don't know who it was that sent it to me. How about that. Anyone else get this? Everything in RED is my thoughts. The rest was the E-mail
  3. I know I have missed some good news articles because they are buried 3 paged in. Unfortunately posted news that was posted previously because in was buried.
  4. No this is old, going on for awhile. It was posted in another forum before.
  5. Listen everyone, thanks for the comments good and bad. I don't write the news, I just look for it. I try not to post B.S. articles that waste my time and your time. As to the authenticity of the video or what they are backing I don't know. Yes it reads something about dinar, No it does not mention dinar in the audio feed. It does say that China and the US are there and that the security is much better and Investment opportunity is really good. Take the meat people and leave the bones.
  6. tj, I'm with you 100%. If I wanted to read the Iraqi Newspaper, I would subscribe to it. This has been brought up before. Edit: Dinar news, Oil contract news, CBI news, or political news tied to those would be just fine with me. The rest is a WASTE.
  7. http://www.break.com/usercontent/2011/1/21/invest-in-iraq-dinar-says-cnbc-news-1988969 audio is a little choppy
  8. http://www.usatoday.com/money/perfi/columnist/krantz/2011-01-11-iraqi-dinar_N.htm Q: How can someone track the value of the Iraqi dinar currency, and it a good investment? A: During a time some investors are losing faith in major currencies and buying gold for protection, many readers are asking about the Iraqi dinar. After the defeat of Sadaam Hussein, the Iraqi dinar has been a constant target of speculation by investors wondering if the currency could be a source of quick riches. Speculating on the currency of a defeated nation goes beyond the scope of this column. This is a place to discuss long-term investment strategies, not speculation. After all, horse racing and gold mining aren't covered here either. Investing in the Iraqi dinar is a huge gamble, and one in which you should be prepared to lose all your money. BEST STOCKS IN 2011? Tips from our Investment Roundtable VIDEO: Investment pros share their top stock picks With that said, there is a value for all investors to know how to look up the current and historical values of obscure currencies, such as the dinar. You can get the latest value of a variety of currency at USATODAY.com's currency page and currency converter calculator. Foreign exchange trading and currency information website oanda.com provides tools, for free, to investors who want see the value of a currency and track its historical movements. It's easy. Just start at Oanda's historical exchange rates page. Enter the currency you'd like to convert from and the currency you'd like to convert to and provide a time frame. Click the Get Table button and you'll get access to all the historical information you're looking for, even on a smaller currency like the dinar
  9. The more of these kinds of news articles that come out the more I know that an R.V. is getting close. Makes me want to buy more actually
  10. Great question. Don't listen when you here this is a scam for one. Don't keep your dinar in a safe deposit box backed the the Federal Reserve Bank. Don't put all your money in USD, invest in Silver, Gold, and have an off shore account set up.
  11. Well journeysend that is who is in control of CBI. Edit: or should I say "Owns the CBI" I know sounds crazy, even on the level of a "conspiracy" but it's a fact.
  12. HOLYSH** you need an R.V. to leave. I bet a greyhound station is only a few blocks from your house.
  13. Deep research on WHO was responsible for the Devalue of Dinar will answer your question. Think of it this way, If I were the Iraqi Government and I could raise the value of my currency and had the power to do it, why wait? When I did R.V. why stop at 1 IQD = 3 USD why not make it 5.50 USD or more. Greed gets involved. I posted earlier in another thread..........LOOK UP THE CLUB OF ROME. Read who it's members are and then ask yourselves, Where do they meet? Why are they never in the news? What do they talk about? These men are powerful, and very influential. Along with IMF, World Bank, Central Banks, World Gov., U.N., WTO...............do I need to continue?
  14. I am not sure where you get your intel or where ratatap gets his intel but sounds a lot like what my friend says who WAS a middle east trade specialist for the U.S. Gov. He is right on track with a lot of what is posted. Iraq has nothing to do (well a little to do) with the R.V. Been saying that for awhile though. Great Post. The Federal Reserve has more to do with The Central Bank of Iraq than Iraq or Shabibi combined have.
  15. Most likely the same article. It was posted today on one website, but turned out to be old news. I try to keep up with everything posted here but sometimes people post 20 articles at once and bury NEW news. know what I'm saying?
  16. Thanks, news is a few days old at least. It was posted today in Iraqi Business News site. Found this earlier posted Feb 3rd. (AKnews) - A government economic adviser called the private banks to merge to provide large amounts of capital that can support the banking sector in the country. Abdul Hussein Al-Anbuge told AKnews that the private banks operating in Iraq are still (family) banks that did not reach the level of the active partnership cash banks in the Iraqi economy. The Iraqi Ministry of Finance confirmed that more than 90% of private banks in the country operate according to distinct monetary controls, indicating that the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) has succeeded in developing the private banks during the last period. "The advancement of the banking reality in Iraq begins through private banks seek to merge and form strong cash banks that have the ability to develop the banking system in the country." The total capital of Iraqi private banks rose from 30 million in 2004 to one billion and 600 million dollars now, except what is owned by the branches of Arab and foreign banks operating in the country. "Private Banks have sophisticated and modern monetary and banking means, but the main obstacle that we face is the weak capital, making it unable to cope with government banks." The Ministry of Finance announced last May forming a committee to develop and organize the work of private banks in the country. A number of private banks rose from 17 banks in 2004 to 31 banks currently while the number of its branches in Baghdad and other provinces rose from 100 to more than 600 branches to compete in the number and level of services branches of the Rafidain and Rashid Banks. Reported by Saman Dazaee Sa/Gs AKnews http://www.aknews.com/en/aknews/2/215583/
  17. They spent it on cheap cigars and rounds of golf for Obama. Edit: This story was posted earlier btw.
  18. The voices that you may be listening to need to be ignored for just a little while.
  19. I have said for awhile that the budget won't make the r.v. happen any faster and at first got ( - reps ) for it. I'm not yelling here just want people to see this. Iraq is not the one responsible for their currency Devaluing they did not sit around and decide to make their money worthless. Yes a budget is important, yes GOI is important, yes security is important. So is the U.N. the I.M.F, the World bank, The presidents of all the Central Banks, not to mention...The U.S. Government, China...............etc, etc, etc. The same involved in the devalue of Iraqi Dinar will be involved in the R.V. Edit: And those that keep saying "No budget no R.V." have no clue. They're mostly sheep, just following the crowd or you could say parrots, repeating what they hear.
  20. http://www.iraq-businessnews.com/2011/02/08/iraqi-banks-urged-to-merge/ Posted on 08 February 2011. Tags: banking Abdul Hussein Al-Anbuge, an Iraqi government economic adviser, has urged the country’s private lenders to merge in order to strengthen their capital and provide stronger support to the banking sector, AK News has reported. The total capital of Iraqi private banks rose from $30m in 2004 to $1.6bn now, not including what is owned by branches of foreign banks operating in the country. I can't find post in Aknews yet but looking. Not sure what this means until I find original post.
  21. Damn straight, they pose to gain the most. Central Banks all over the World are looking forward to this.
