Great effort on this post and the news seems exciting,however it has been debunked before. This one has made the rounds for several weeks with the debunkers concluding that there is a translation error and the IQD number should be trillions not billions. That would leave us with the same .00086 USD to 1 IQD we have today. Jaykay, want you to know I'm not bashing. Thanks for the posts and keep them coming. These kinds of articles are what we need to keep us interested and active in the forums. I'm just adding my info all to consider. Maybe the debunkers are wrong and you are right. Hope So.

Sorry Bang, I am not Bashing you here and I appreciate the fforts you have made lately, but this has been de-bunked several times over the last weeks. If you take the 93 IQD as trillion - as several versions of same article have shown it you get to the same .00086 IQD to 1 USD as we have today. The debunkers on previous similar posts chalked it up to a bad translation into english which caused the trillion to read as billion. I wish it were true and I thank you fo the find and the effort it took to post it. We are always looking for good news Heck I'd take $.86 any day and I can hope the de-bunkers are wrong, just wanted to let folks know this one has made the rounds before

All I can say is that I wont bash now and hope that it is true. But at 6:47 tommorrow (CST),................. if it hasnt Rv'd................. PERMISSION TO BASH PLEASE MODS! lol lol Its all good and fun to read. Tommorrow would be great but so would next month or next year. I'll be waiting.

Chill Folks, Okie's name was in the title! That should give you a clue as to the content. I just appreciate when the names of the guru's are in the topic so I can read or not read. I know which ones to read for laughs or for info. I'll only add this to the discussion. As long as some people can hide behind their avatars they feel empowered to say and do things they would never do face to face, person to person. I get angry too but I always try to be my real self and respond as if the person were in the room and eye to eye with me. In other words I would be willing to put my real name on anything I post. I didnt do the de-bunking on the original but my understanding is that the translating software can often foul it up. That makes sense since the translated articles are often hard to read. Besides much like our press here in the states reporters sometimes just dont try hard enough to get it right - they just get it out. There are also those who would intentially mis state something for some sort of gain (can you imagine that? (sarc)) Not saying this one from Drew Gray was intentional but we have to be careful and not hang on every word that is printed. Heck I hope it right! Just my 23.4 Dinar

NOT BASHING HERE! Before anyone gets too excited this info came out some weeks back and it is probably a typo. If you take the IQD number from billion to trillion you get .00086 usd to 1 IQD which is the current rate. Another version of the same article stated it correctly as 93 Trillion IQD. Good find and I am wishing it wasnt a typo - just trying to quell any craziness and keep everyone grounded.

Everyone: Marks handle is execonsult. he is an estate attorney. I dont know him personally but I have read his posts from start to finish. I think he nailed the tax implications of the Dinar. I am also a tax professional and when researching this for a client I too came up with a capital gain scenario. After reading Mark's (execonsult) posts I have changed my opinion. Please go to the Tax section of the forum and look things over and print what you find interesting. Then share these with your tax advisor. All is not as it seems with this investment and your tax person can only help you when they have ALL of the relevent data. I can assure you that they have not seen anything like this before (none of us has!) I was on a CPAP fro years but fought it every night. Went to a BIPAP last year and it finaly worked. I have real high pressures so the BIPAP helped me. I went to a Nasal pillow to stop looking like Darth Vader in bed but keep the full mask for when I have allergies and cant breath through my nose.
