  2. You left this part out... The source of Parliament, said in an interview earlier "Alsumaria News", the Presidency of the Council of Representatives adjourned regular session of the 36 to be held at 11 am half an hour, due to power outages for the parliament building, noting that the agenda for the meeting includes a vote on the bill the financial budget for the current year 2011, and the first reading of the draft law on ratification of the Republic of Iraq to amend the Convention on the crude oil pipeline agreement signed between Turkey, Iraq, likely "to be a deliberate interruption of electricity to block the vote on the budget bill after agreeing to make it electronically. So, like 1 more hour they should be voting.

  5. I was reading comments on the "Iraqi Revolution" facebook page when I came accross the following discussion that I found to be quite refreshing... (it's long but i formatted a little) James Bradley the product of the revolutions must be a United Arab, Iranian, Pakistani Islamic people's republic. Islamic culture and presentation of its history will be developed creatively with full religious tolerance and complete separation of religion from state. the programme of this union must be nationalization of all means of production and... alliance with Venezuela and Cuba if each revolution stands alone after its initial success there will be change all peoples of the world must stand together and build an international alliance against Yankee Imperialism. only when imperialism is defeated will poverty and corruption be eradicated James Bradley ‎1. Rebuild the commune. Unite all workers, unemployed, communists, socialists, trade unionists into workers councils 2. Communize the economy (i.e. nationalize American companies, give them to the commune) 3. reform the soviet union (i.e. ...the union of Venezuela and Cuba, and reform the united arab republic (Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria) as a part of the soviet union. 4. unite all the world against American imperialism. Iraq revolution on 25th of february this very good indeed. but according to our situation it is too far now. We would like to accomplish our goals now then we will go to the universe James Bradley In 1974 angola as well as mozambique were fighting for their independence from portogesse imperialsm, the revolution in portugal gave independence to all their colonies, each nationalized their economies and joined the socialist block. the ...independence of belgian congo had been thrawtled by the assassination of the liberator Patrice Lumumba, and the bribing with 30billiion of a mercenary mubuto, which drove the country into civil war. cuba had helped fight against mubuto but yankee imperialism won out. now mubutos mercenary armies, as well as anti communist mercenaries, and the aparteiht south african imperialist armies, were marching on angola to prevent them from becoming communist. the cubans saved angola by defeating these armies, and the independence of all portogese colonies were assured. in 1987 cuba against saved angola from the south africans, the second defeat of south africa freed namibia from the south african aparteiht empire, leading to the decay of south african capitalism/imperialism, and its overthrow by the black liberation army ANC. now the ANC, the trade unions, the communist party, and the youth leauges are in power. if cuba unites with venezuela, then south africa unites with angola (which has a similar goverment which gets 80% of the votes) then namibia, mozambique, tanzania and zambia, veitnam, laos and cambodia, mongolia, nepal and bangladesh which all have workers governments will join the soviet union. then the arab revolutions will all be drawn into the union. the arab revolutions must be directed towards joining this union. Iraq revolution on 25th of february Dude, If u do not mind Help us to spread the page as much as u can to make our voice reah the whole world. James Bradley building the commune in each country will help all Arab revolutions to progress. these are the basic slogans of the commune. James Bradley yes i will advertise your page on a page i will make to generate support for the Arab revolutions in new Zealand Iraq revolution on 25th of february PUBLISH the page if u can. Salwan A. AlHelaly Don't try to push your own ideas of how the world should be (a follower to what you called the union of Cuba and Venezuela) or try to force the ideas of communism and sociliasm against us, we know better because we lived under those ideas f...or 30 years and it wasn't any better than today's Iraq. Cuba and Venezuela better start a revolution of their own against their regimes which are just other dictatorships hanging to power by claws of brute force. This revolution if it did succeed, belongs to us, the Iraqi people. How it will end? is only decided by Iraqis James Bradley if you believe that the aim of the iraqi revolution should be unification with other revolutionary arab countries then i will advertise your page on my page Iraq revolution on 25th of february Our revolution was inspirit by Tunis & Egypt Revolution, so if we can achieve our demands, then we can to glob. I if understand the Arab`s government policy, because they do not stand with their people. the ruler of Each government try to stick to the chair and deliver it to all his children. They do not believe in smooth transition of the authority Iraq revolution on 25th of february Regarding the stolen money of people and destroying the infrastructure instead of building it. and the fake contract that was exchange between each other James Bradley we need all revolutions striving for the same goal, unification. if the people prove that the government is corrupt and offer the correct alternative then the army will come over the people more easily. if we do not try to build this idea, then we are placing everything in fates hands. Salwan A. AlHelaly ‎@James: This revolution if it did develop to more than protests is mostly about restoring our dignity as iraqis which we lost, the surface demands is requiring better life standards and services along with some political demands like the r...esignation of certain corrupt political symbols.. These demands along with peaceful protests will unite iraqis eventually, they will realize iraq IS Iraqis.. not politicians and not even religious symbols. Then a whole new age starts, demands will probably change and skyrocket, and the government/US will eventually submit to the will of the people otherwise we'll take down iraq civilly and they won't have anything to do about it Iraq revolution on 25th of february U just image 8 years of ruling with out any progress. million of million $ were spending for infrastructure on the ground, but actually nothing has been except the vanish of what left. U just image that each party moving over ministry case.... one of them is moving from ministry of interior to ministry of finance, What degree does he held to make qualify for this far away job!!!!! unfortunately, this is how things are going in our country. for your point we try to renuited each other for future aims Shyamalee Mahibalan There is a story that the sectarian violence will creep in once you guys start the protests, you guys will have to stay united even in Kurdistan. Iraq revolution on 25th of february for sure we are. But do not worry nothing will dare to creep on us. we are Iraqi people, we do not afraid of anyone. Dude, if u can publish the page It sounds like the people have a righteous cause and are pretty grounded. Here is a link to the facebook page if you are interested.
  6. We could have been in the green. Click this link. Iraq is sueing us for a billion (seems like a drop in the bucket) to fix their sewer pipes and roads. Americans: don't take it personally that the U.S. economy is in shambles and unemployment is high. Restructuring a country isn't cheap and alot of our money has gone towards this. It probably caused alot of businesses to close and people to lose their jobs. We spent alot of money to free Iraq from an impossible situation (imho). That money left America. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. I think we will level off soon, when our troops come home. Keep on keepin' on and let no one stop you.
  7. Maybe you're right, they are saving up the ones that are stupid enough to blow themselves up for the 24th. This article says that they have resorted to car bombs. Riskier? Yes, but it spares a retarded suicide bomber for future endeavors.
  8. They are sueing us for a billion because the blast walls damaged sewer lines and cause traffic? I wonder what the law suit would have been if we didn't put up the walls, seeing as how they were put there to protect Iraqi people and Iraqi buildings. PRICELESS.
  9. Middle East protests hit Baghdad (CNN) -- Roughly 200 Iraqi protesters hit the streets Friday in central Baghdad, the latest in a string of Middle East cities to be affected by the wave of unrest sweeping the region. Protesters are also trying to organize a larger demonstration -- part of what they are now calling the "Iraqi revolution" -- for next Friday. Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki told reporters "there should be no problem" issuing official permission for a larger protest if a formal request is made. The prime minister expressed concern, however, that protesters could be "infiltrated by saboteurs either from those who lost in (Iraq's recent) elections or by the remains of the Baathists or al-Qaeda terrorists." Iraq, like many of its neighbors, has been convulsed by popular protests since demonstrations toppled the leader of Tunisia last month. 1 dead, 55 wounded in Iraq protests One person was killed and 57 were injured Thursday when hundreds of protesters clashed with security forces in Sulaimaniya, a city in the Kurdish region of northern Iraq, according to Dr. Raykot Hamed Salih, a health official there. Dozens of protesters attacked the Kurdistan Democratic Party headquarters in the city and destroyed furniture and computers inside the building, police officials in Sulaimaniya told CNN. Witnesses told CNN that Kurdish security forces, known as peshmerga, opened fire to disperse the protesters. The demonstrators were angry about corruption, the quality of basic services and unemployment, Salih said. Meanwhile, at least one person was shot dead and 55 others -- including four police -- were wounded Wednesday when private security guards and Iraqi security forces fired on hundreds of demonstrators outside the governor's office in the eastern city of Kut, health officials said. Human Rights Watch released a statement Thursday demanding that Iraqi authorities allow an independent investigation of the recent violence. Dude, you are whacked in the head if you think this isn't a problem!
  10. I have to agree with your friend and the international banker. The dinar is ready. Now if Maliki could just get on board and hit the launch button... GO SKYROCKET RV!!!
  11. Sadrists leader in military uniform stirs controversy amongst Iraqis Written by aliraqnews1 Wednesday, 16 February 2011 22:07 Baghdad, INN- Muqtada al-Sadr, leader of the Sadrist Movement, appeared on several Iraqi websites in his military uniform just to raise many questions in the mind of Iraqis. When asked by one of his supporters, Sadr himself confirmed the photo saying it has been taken recently. However, the photo brought to the mind the scene of Lebanese dean of war prisoners Samir Qentar from Hezbollah fighters when he was freed from Israeli prison and came back to Lebanon and appeared once again in Hezbollah military uniform which is also used by Iran’s Al Quds Army personnel. According to Iraqi political observers, by this photo, Sadr is sending a message to the Iraqis that in the coming phase he will be fighting in the same way of Hezbollah militia. This has been clearly illustrated by Sadr during his hasty visit Iraq before going back to Iran where is residing now in the Shiite spiritual city of Qum. Iraqis sharply criticized Sadr’s behavior especially when changed his religious garment with a military suit usually used by Al Quds Army members and Hezbollah fighters. For the Iraqis, it is not allowed to replace the Shiite religious dress with any other particularly when it is not a typical Iraqi one.
  12. Maliki accused of protecting outgoing corrupt ministers Written by aliraqnews1 Thursday, 17 February 2011 19:38 Baghdad, INN- Parliament Integrity Committee received a request from Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki asking the parliament committee not to account former ministers for reasons he did not mention. Committee member Alia Nasif said a request came from the government not to open investigation and hold some former ministers accountable for their wrongdoing. The 17-member committee was divided into three groups of four or five to make it easier for the committee to unveil cases of corruption in government ministries over the past years. Each group will be in charge of checking files of a number of ministries and there will be field visits to projects that belong to these ministries, Nasif said -What is Maliki hiding here?
  13. Great post. Maybe if they asked as nicely as you, they would get what they "need". Making demands at this point is the problem.
  14. We gave the money to "curveball". You can just grab it from him. Would you like fries with that?
  15. Dear Maliki: You're citizens are demanding basic things. Please stop acting like everything else is more important and that the basics are too hard to provide. They are on to you! You're citizens are not as stupid as you treat them and they are on the verge of a revolution. You can stop this with some common sense. Get real!
  16. Good Morning from California Dvets. Make it a great day!

  19. I heard him yesterday say that RV would happen at 2 am (last night). I am sure we will hear from him again before next Monday. This should probably be in the questions or rumors section. You are correct...It started in Chats or rumors & belongs there...moved to rumors.....RON
  20. You shouldn't generalize like that old man. You might offend the masses.
  21. They were going to assassinate him already, but the assassination was postponed untill next Thursday. JK!
