I had the same thought the other day. I figured if the banks were selling the lower denoms to tue banks then it explains why the amount has been significantly lower. You go from selling 25K notes to all lower denoms then it affects the amount and the percentage yada yada. I figured that was the theory behind the decrease initially and I had never read it but it must be posted in Docs old posts and it was just me finally getting to that conclusion in my head.

Should police officers make a profit off the sale of confiscated items from raids? Serious question, how do you feel about that practise?

This is the info I heard from a friend in the airforce (this convo had nothing to do with IQD). There is a military mandate stating that any soldier that comes into a large sum of money either it be from the lottery, inheritance etc they can no longer be apart of the service and will be honorably discharged.

I definitely understand this is being tragic news. However, I've heard that when a soldier dies the minister of the interior has the right and is practiced all communication in Iraq is cut to the outside world. This minister controls Iraqi air space. One way to RV and keep it from leaving the country is to fabricate a soldiers death to cut Iraq off from the normal lines of communication...I hope this is the case and no one actually was killed.

I definitely understand that ever present feeling that I've been scammed. It actually helps me from losing my lunch on this roller coaster ride. In fact I feel like I never get on, I stay on the ground gazing at the roller coaster track smiling. What keeps me from leaving the amusement park is the initial fact I got which made me invest. I didnt invest due to rumors or intel from any site. I posted it awhile ago but I know someone who directly saw tractor trailer container full of IQD leaving Qatar going to the states and was told there were 20 more similar containers. This fact and my own pessimism helps me stay in the middle, not too much joy or despair about this investment. I tell myself there was a real reason those containers where heading for the states through military contractors and not because its a scam.

If a return is slim to none where is the articles explanation? There are plenty of reasons to keep the masses away from these types of investments.

I guess a question I have for you is do you prescribe to the idea of no auctions for 48hrs that Doc and Zantac believe to be true? I do, also the notion that to make such a big change to the monetary system something has to come down. It has been presented that the CBI is not a functioning bank site where you purchase, transfer etc. If only the site was down and it is non functional business site I wouldn't be raising and eyebrow lol they are artificially creating another 48hr no auction series of days. IMO I'm not yelling RV but I do see the possibilities and the simple explanations often dont go far. Misdirection is a tool and the Iraqis often seem like magicians, so for me what is going on since our attention is focused on this nonfunctional site? Nothing simple about it all. That's the info I like to know. This time last yr or whenever has the CBI site been up and down or similar occurrences with the Paris Club, IMF, chpt 7 and whatever else we attempt to connect happened before?

I could be wrong because I read it so early in the morning but I think DD spoke with Ali who it appears knew shortly before hand the CBI would close, not just the site. Is there a holiday? Speculation is no auctions today, or over the weekend.

I just had to laugh at the get rich quick part as well. Even though I was just graced with this investment this yr I don't think individuals who have been waiting since 2003 or so feel it's quick...how long did t take for someone who invested in Microsoft, Apple or Google at the ground lvl to "get rich"? Haven't looked into it but 6+ yrs sounds reasonable. I guess that was a get rich scheme as well. At one point people felt the personal computer was a worthless investment. It's a risk but it's one I'm thankful to take.

Is he out of the loop on where Iraq will be financially after chpt 7 is lifted? Not even talking about the RV but all the wealth and new economic growth that is now possible? Or is it he knows they will skim off the top and more ministers means more skimming lol

I got to admit I'm not of your faith but I have to admire an educated Christian. Please break down Easter, Sunday worship and the trinity down for everyone. Most people of ALL religious faiths need to know their history because in essence a lot of rituals, ideas etc have become extremely convoluted.

I feel the argument was the other way around. People are upset they didnt say Merry Christmas. I can agree with the statement if it's Christmas day, eve or the week of go ahead say whatever you like. But if someone says happy holidays in the 2nd week of December and for all practical purposes you could be out buying presents for a different holiday them just take the compliment of someone simply wishing you a nice day regardless what day(s) you celebrate.

Is Allawi not participating like before where he PERSONALLY was done but his bloc was still running the show without him? My question is: why is Maliki so confident? There is obviously something missing from the articles, rumors etc. He has a trump card that most dont know about. Glass half full I see Allawi getting a better rate due to government stability that he create that I don't see Maliki capable of. Second that gives me a ton more time to ante up! The oil is just sitting, Saudi Arabia and Baharain are getting their oil stolen. Iraq will be in the same scenario SOON with Iran if hey can't get their ducks in a row.

I'll probably get negative marks as well but does it matter at the end of the day...no! Great point you make and I support religious inclusiveness to my last breath. Many people on this site and the country forget the founders did not want religious exclusiveness run and ruin this country. There are many other voices in this country and no one religion should be able to have a monopoly on how you simply greet someone... Point blank you won't see a photo or article about governments owning dinar. Exactly what others have said, all you can go on is speculation I started a post some time ago but not many commented. I don't have pictures but i have direct word from a private contractor that they saw cargo CONTAINERS of IQD leaving Iraq headed for the states. This is what got me to invest. Take it or leave it.

I'm starting to think TK & AC are the same person. Before you laugh hear me out lol It's like Batmans Two-Face character. TK represents this human need for hope despite what's in front of your face. AC is the opposite and is this wild primordial need to be constantly weary of the truth that is beating on the front door. The nervous animal in the bush waiting for the predator to pounce. TK and AC are one in the same. Either literally the same person sitting at their computer in the dark having some weird bipolar trip every day typing it all out in dinar land. Or simply just the polar opposites creating a dualisms we so love to hate. I hope so. I haven't been involved in this investment as long as others but know when it hits it's going to change my life drastically along with thousands of others. What difference do you see in all this right now in comparison to this time of yr in the subsequent yrs? I'm feeling the hype but domt want to fall victim to the "hope" everyone has had before. What new dominos make you feel it's so sure now?
