  1. The feds have way too many laws already. Just one more law we don't need, let the states manage their own laws. "If we run such [government] debts, as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and our creeds, as the people of England are, our people, like them, must come to labor sixteen hours in twenty-four, give earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses, and the sixteenth being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live, as they now do, on oatmeal and potatoes, have no time to think, no means of calling the mismanagers to account; but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-suffers." ~ Thomas Jefferson
  2. and least we forget, all government workers take an oath of office. When you speak with one of our "servants" they appear to forget who the master is. They need to be reminded of that oath they took. That includes the man in a black dress on the bench, and all the underlings, and every other state and federal servant. Don't let them get away with acting like your master. It also helps if you put in a few hours of studying some law before your meeting with that "servant". Keep in mind they do not want you to know any law. PS Were you aware--there is not one attorney that has a license to practice law in the USA.
  3. I have studied this information for years. It is imposable to explain the ins and outs of this to people, as it is too unbelievable for them to grasp. It goes against everything they have learned in the public fool system, their church and their parents. Hard to believe it starts with the Birth Certificate.
  4. T.J. said it all right here "If we run such [government] debts, as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and our creeds, as the people of England are, our people, like them, must come to labor sixteen hours in twenty-four, give earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses, and the sixteenth being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live, as they now do, on oatmeal and potatoes, have no time to think, no means of calling the mismanagers to account; but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-suffers." ~ Thomas Jefferson
  5. and the beat goes on, one thing after the other. How much longer are the "WIDE ASLEEP" Americans going to let these things happen.
  6. SOME OF YOU WILL APPRECIATE THIS AND SOME OF YOU WILL NOT. If any other of our presidents had doubled the National Debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would You have Approved? If any other of our presidents had then proposed to Double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved? If any other of our presidents had criticized a State Law that he admitted he never even read, would you think that he is just an ignorant hot Head? If any other of our presidents joined the country of Mexico and sued a State in the United States to force that State to continue to allow Illegal Immigration, would you question his patriotism and wonder who's side he was on? If any other of our presidents had pronounced the Marine Corps as if it were the Marine Corpse, would you think him an Idiot? If any other of our presidents had put 87,000 workers out of work by arbitrarily placing a moratorium on offshore oil drilling on companies that have one of the best safety records of any industry because one foreign company had an accident, would you have agreed? If any other of our presidents had used a forged document as the basis of the moratorium that would render 87000 American workers unemployed, would you support him? If any other of our presidents had been the first President to need a teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes? If any other of our presidents had spent hundreds of thousands of Dollars to take his First Lady to a play in NYC, would you have approved? If any other of our presidents had reduced your retirement plan holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved? If any other of our presidents had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved? If any other of our presidents had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved? If any other of our presidents had given the Queen of England an IPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought it to be a proud moment for America ? If any other of our presidents had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia , would you have approved? If any other of our presidents had visited Austria and made reference to the nonexistent "Austrian language," would you have brushed it off as a minor slip? If any other of our presidents had filled his Cabinet and circle of Advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current on their Income Taxes, would you have approved? If any other of our presidents had stated that there were 57 states in the United States , wouldn't you have had second thoughts about his capabilities? If any other of our presidents would have flown all the way to Denmark to make a five minute speech about how the Olympics would benefit him walking out his front door in his home town, would you not have thought he was a self-important, conceited, egotistical jerk? If any other of our presidents had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to "Cinco de Cuatro" in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was "The 5th of May" (Cinco de Mayo), and then continue to flub it when he tried again, wouldn't you have winced in embarrassment? If any other of our presidents had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a Hypocrite? If any other of our presidents' Administrations had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11? If any other of our presidents had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest, with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you want it made into a major ongoing Political issue with claims of racism and incompetence? If any other of our presidents had created the positions of 32 Czars who report directly to him, bypassing the House and Senate on much of what is happening in America , would you have approved? If any other of our presidents had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved? So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? Can't think of anything? Then you'd better start worrying. He's done all these things in 28 months -- and you have less than 19 months to come up with an answer. Every statement and action in this email is factual and correctly attributable to Barrack Hussein Obama. Every bumble is a matter of record and completely verifiable.
  7. Actually, I believe it is called Congress. The House and the Senate had to vote on this piece of crap, that Ron Paul was warning us about just a few days ago right here in Off Topics.
  8. And the biggie not mentioned cut in foreign aid!!!!
  9. Interview at the Firm... There was a job opening in the country's most prestigious law firm and it finally comes down to Robert and Paul. Both graduated magna cum laude from law school. Both come from good families. Both are equally attractive and well spoken. It's up to the senior partner to choose one, so he takes each candidate aside and asks, "Why did you become a lawyer? Only seconds after talking to them both, he chooses Paul. Baffled, Robert takes Paul aside after the interview. "I don't understand why I was rejected. When Mr. Armstrong asked me why I became a lawyer, I said that I had the greatest respect for the law, that I'd lay down my life for the Constitution and that all I wanted was to do right by my clients. What in the world did you tell him?" "I said I became a lawyer because of my hands," Paul replies. "Your hands? What do you mean?" "Well, I took a look one day and there wasn't any money in either of them!" I believe that to be the truth of attorneys
  10. This part of the forum is called "Off Topics" anything goes if you do not want to read this section there are many others to choose from.
  11. I bought in about one year ago, I told two friends who bought in immediately. I gave a few 25000 dinar to friends and gave them DinarVet site but none of them bought in. At least I tried. When and if the RV is worthwhile, (as I have a few million) I will move from CA and re establish my life somewhere in another area of the sunbelt. Somewhere where no one knows me. None of my family knows of my investment. Mum is the word, keep it under the arm, is my thinking. I will help the family as the years roll by. They don’t need to know Ole Uncle has any extra bucks
  12. I believe PB said America is 70% Christian.
  13. Pat Boone on Obama When you have read what Pat Boone wrote about Obama (below), you may want to click on the link to "Snopes", which brings up a page telling you that this is an actual editorial written by Pat Boone - and very well written at that. The President Without A Country By Pat Boone "We're no longer a Christian nation." - President Barack Obama, June 2009 " America has been arrogant." - President Barack Obama "After 9/11, America didn't always live up to her ideals."- President Barack Obama "You might say that America is a Muslim nation."- President Barack Obama, Egypt 2009 Thinking about these and other statements made by the man who wears the title of president. I keep wondering what country he believes he's president of. In one of my very favorite stories, Edward Everett Hale's "The Man without a Country," a young Army lieutenant named Philip Nolan stands condemned for treason during the Revolutionary War, having come under the influence of Aaron Burr. When the judge asks him if he wishes to say anything before sentence is passed, young Nolan defiantly exclaims, "Damn the United States ! I wish I might never hear of the United States again!" The stunned silence in the courtroom is palpable, pulsing. After a long pause, the judge soberly says to the angry lieutenant: "You have just pronounced your own sentence. You will never hear of the United States again.. I sentence you to spend the rest of your life at sea, on one or another of this country's naval vessels - under strict orders that no one will ever speak to you again about the country you have just cursed." And so it was. Philip Nolan was taken away and spent the next 40 years at sea, never hearing anything but an occasional slip of the tongue about America. The last few pages of the story, recounting Nolan's dying hours in his small stateroom - now turned into a shrine to the country he foreswore - never fail to bring me to tears. And I find my own love for this dream, this miracle called America , refreshed and renewed. I know how blessed and unique we are. But reading and hearing the audacious, shocking statements of the man who was recently elected our president - a young black man living the impossible dream of millions of young Americans, past and present, black and white - I want to ask him, "Just what country do you think you're president of?" You surely can't be referring to the United States of America , can you? America is emphatically a Christian nation, and has been from its inception! Seventy percent of her citizens identify themselves as Christian. The Declaration of Independence and our Constitution were framed, written and ratified by Christians. It's because this was, and is, a nation built on and guided by Judeo-Christian biblical principles that you, sir, have had the inestimable privilege of being elected her president. You studied law at Harvard, didn't you, sir? You taught constitutional law in Chicago ? Did you not ever read the statement of John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and an author of the landmark "Federalist Papers": " Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers - and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation - to select and prefer Christians for their rulers"? In your studies, you surely must have read the decision of the Supreme Court in 1892: "Our lives and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian." Did your professors have you skip over all the high-court decisions right up till the mid 1900's that echoed and reinforced these views and intentions? Did you pick up the history of American jurisprudence only in 1947, when for the first time a phrase coined by Thomas Jefferson about a "wall of separation between church and state" was used to deny some specific religious expression - contrary to Jefferson 's intent with that statement? Or, wait a minute: were your ideas about America 's Christianity formed during the 20 years you were a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ under your pastor, Jeremiah Wright? Is that where you got the idea that " America is no longer a Christian nation"? Is this where you, even as you came to call yourself a Christian, formed the belief that " America has been arrogant"? Even if that's the understandable explanation of your damning of your country and accusing the whole nation (not just a few military officials trying their best to keep more Americans from being murdered by jihadists) of "not always living up to her ideals," how did you come up with the ridiculous, alarming notion that we might be “considered a Muslim nation"? Is it because there are some 2 million or more Muslims living here, trying to be good Americans? Out of a current population of over 300 million, 70 percent of whom are Christians? Does that make us, by any rational definition, a "Muslim nation"? Why are we not, then, a "Chinese nation"? A "Korean nation"? Even a "Vietnamese nation"? There are even more of these distinct groups in America than Muslims. And if the distinction you're trying to make is a religious one, why is America not "a Jewish nation"? There's actually a case to be made for the latter, because our Constitution - and the success of our Revolution and founding - owe a deep debt to our Jewish brothers. Have you stopped to think what an actual Muslim America would be like? Have you ever really spent much time in Iran ? Even in Egypt ? You, having been instructed in Islam as a kid at a Muslim school in Indonesia and saying you still love the call to evening prayers, can surely picture our nation founded on the Quran, not the Judeo-Christian Bible, and living under Shariah law. Can't you? You do recall Muhammad's directives [surah 9:5,73] to "break the cross" and "kill the infidel"? It seems increasingly and painfully obvious that you are more influenced by your upbringing and questionable education than most suspected. If you consider yourself the president of a people who are "no longer Christian," who have "failed to live up to our ideals," who "have been arrogant," and might even be "considered Muslim" - you are president of a country most Americans don't recognize. Could it be you are a president without a country? http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/patboone.asp
  14. The flat tax is just as unconstitutional as the IRS's income tax. There are three LAWFUL taxes that the government can exist on. The flat tax and the income tax are not one of them. Until 1913 the government ran well on those three taxes and in many years before 1913 one of the biggest problems for Congress was what to do with their excess funds.

  16. Yeah sure more mileage just can not be attained according to you. Japan put together a nice little package about 10 years ago call Prius, now getting around 50 miles to the gallon. I believe this is just the start with better mileage to come.
  17. Lybia, like Iraq had no central bank owned by the international bankers. Lybia, like Iraq has oil. The day is not far off and Lybia WILL have a bank. There are a couple more without a bank, North Korea and Iran. Not to worry, one day soon they will also have a bank
  18. For entertainment I like to ask the counterhelp if they accept Federal Reserve Notes in payment. They almost always say NO. It does not really matter what the age of the person is, most do not know what they are using for money.
  19. You are so correct Bang, Ali is a businessman, as such when my friends and I purchased from him he was as straight as a string with us. He followed thru on every aspect in every transaction. There is no way I feel that he has "flown the coop", if he comes back is his business non of ours.
  20. This AM someone sent this to my email. It was a belly laugh then, and one thing for sure I would not post it to this forum "The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not" Thomas Jefferson
  21. He has a niece who is Ali's God-daughter. Read more: If I were Ali I would be all over that God-daughter's case for having loose lips. I would image that info was told to her in confidence.
  22. Quote...."Sorry just an assumption on my part, on the 16th." Read more: An ASSUMPTION and then it is picked up and quoted as gospel in another post. Who knows when Ali will reopen.
  23. That is great thank you, but what is the code section that the publication is speaking of.
