We finally have some actual "facts" posted on this sight.... and they end up in the rumors section. Go figure!

Dont understand the negatives. People just dont like to hear the truth. I have daily contact with friends who are still working in Iraq. This is the first post in a while that actually collaberates with what I am hearing from them. However, the locals who run the shops at the markets on base, do business differently than outside the wire. they price everything in U.S. dollars, and do transactions with our dollars. I dont know that they prefer that method, but maybe it's a convinience to our soldiers and contractors. I do hear the same info about no lower denominations yet, and they still look at you like your crazy for wanting to exchange dollars for dinar. I dont post much, because I have nothing positive to contribute. I would love to hear something good from my contacts, and pass along the info.... and promise I will. Until then, I stay grounded, and hope for some ground breaking news just like everyone else. I like to read good news, and enjoy reading the rumors for the entertainment value. One still hopes to see some solid intel hidden in there somewhere. They say that every rumor holds some truth in it somewhere. So far though, the only "facts" that can found in the rumors section, is that they are in "fact" rumors. GO RV!!! and all that other stuff... Also, I have never seen a 100k note. I dont see a reason for arguement about it though. I dont think anything was being implied by saying it.

First.... maybe you should consider reading the entire post in the future (starting with the title) Donald Trump on Fox News "On the Record" July 21, 2011 This is merely a transcript of a phone interview done with FOX News. But, insulting "all" the readers of this forum because you like attention, is not cool. And your right.... trump probably has no idea that his interview is posted on this "type of forum".

My personal favorite, is one newbie ( who has made a few hundred needless posts in a week or two) calling another member a newbie (negatively), because their "senior member" status makes them feel entitled. The other, is people who +1 their own posts. Thanks for hangin it out there on that one. +1 from me.

Sorry to get off topic.... or not. CDB, I gotta know who you are. I was at T-1 until this past August. Assuming we worked for the same "red lanyard", what was your call sign? (2010) I was DOL 12. Or would you be willing to give out your actual name? Either way, there is an iraqi that works on site, who is a good contact to have. He and his brother work at the HSE dept. They are both american citizens from atlanta. They went back to IQ to try and make some money with a local contractor. ( decieved ) anyway.... they will validate, or debunk anything you want to know about these rumors. (first desk on the right, when you walk in) Im sure you already know that typically, most of our Iraqi contractors dont know anything about anything. But, this is your guy! Sorry to hi-jack the post here, but Im not paying money just to send messages to other members.

I don't believe she is a pumper at all, but an alien species here to suck out our brains. I for one, feel as though I lost many brain cells for having read that story. B.S. or not, it is still more exciting to read these bank rumors than to see another post about RD and lop. That is why we're here, right? Positive speculation.... I dont get online to research negative intel about my investment. Just looking for a little entertainment before my death or RV, whichever comes first. I give credit to the story, for it's entertainment value, but have to say I am dissapointed in the climax. Although a "cash in option" was original.... I feel like the author shot themself in the foot on that one.

If somehow, the "criminals" were honestly holding things up,.... RV! Let em get on a plane, and get the hell out! Let them go somewhere else and be warlords or thugs. In another country, those "criminals" wont have the protection of our constitution, and will be properly punished if they continue to comitt crimes. "eye for an eye" and all that good stuff. IMO

I would hope that your transaction was cleared, and the order was made properly by the bank. So even if we saw an RV tomorrow, you would still receive your dinar as ordered, just after the fact. IMO, if the dinar was not yet in transit to your bank.... you could possibly see a refund of your money. Not cool! I hope it works out for you though. Please keep us posted.

Maybe after the RV, I can afford to buy my first iphone. 2012 Camaro & 1967 Camaro that match. New shotgun, rifle, and jacked up 4x4 to support my newly aquired 500 acre compound. Tell my boss to "go F***K yourself" even though he's a nice guy. (just seems like something your supposed to say to your boss) set up 2 accounts for my kids, so they can become spoiled college graduate brats in a few years. ( you know the type... get their masters degree, then go hang out in an Amsterdam "Coffee" Shop for a few months, or go volunteer for an archeologist in Egypt for a year) I dont know how to fly one, but it just seems like a wealthy man is supposed to have a cool hellicopter. with two .50 cals mounted om it. Honestly..... I will probably continue to go to work for a week or two and not tell anyone. Im sure that I will be taking care of my family and close friends first. I dont plan to change my lifestyle at all. My clothing will continue to be 90% camoflauge or hunting related. I dont need a 4000 sq foot house. I do need a 65 inch plasma in every room though. I will make it my lifes work, to creating an alternative fuel for our vehicles. Something that is pollution free, and can my made yourself in the garage, or possibly in your kitchen. Something cheap or free, that the government cannot tax or regulate.
