If it's anything like yesterday's blurb, they say the Dinar is a bad investment because 1) there are old dinars that are no longer usable that you could be scammed with, and 2) that the dinar is not currently trading so no bank will cash it in. That is the extent of their reasoning against investing in the dinar. It makes you wonder why this came up again now with the same old invalid arguments...

NO, he sold you a product that you wanted to buy, with no guarantee as to what may or may not occur with it. He has no further obligation to any one!

Why is this in rumors? Isn't this off-topic?

Haggai-You are so right. We continue to put our very western spin on all that is occurring. The Eastern mind is truly wired differently-their focus is not where ours is. I don't even think it is the same distance from pint A to B. The Iraqi's seem to do things in a very convoluted way! Yet, they all manage to collect their salaries!

Whoops-you are right! There is a picture of SH on them! I never really looked at them because they were worth so little. DB sent them with a 25K order-those were legit with metal security line, watermarks, etc. I just didn't pay attention to these until this post line. Why would DB send these out? Souvenirs? Really weird!

I have (2) 25 Dinar notes sent with an order from D.B. I would be happy to post a picture, but I truly have no idea how. My kids load my pictures into the computer for me. But, they are real. And I know others have posted pictures of denoms lower the 25 IQD on this site. Do a search.

Might be why CBI & Forex have yet to show improvements in the exchange rate.

Forex is reading 1188 asking price for dinar, down in value from the 1170 it's been forever. Not the direction we'd like...

Can't be true-no way will it value that high!!

CBI still at 1170. Let us know if there's more proof.

I have noticed that there are times I will go on & certain lines/posts will be locked. If I log out or access the net from a different direction, those very same posts become unlocked. I don't know why this happens, but it has happened to me a lot. It may not always be the moderators closing things down, you know?
