Sara Johnson Posted December 22, 2011 Report Share Posted December 22, 2011 Link between theIraqi government bombings in Baghdad and the issue of al-Hashemi 22/12/2011 12:35 Baghdad, 22 December / December (Rn) - linked the Iraqigovernment headed by Nuri al-Maliki, the coordinated blasts that rocked Baghdadon Thursday and the issue of indictment of Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi ofsupporting "terrorism" and said that the party political unnamed,trying to pressure to negotiate on the issue . And shook the Iraqi capital Baghdad on Thursday morning, aseries of coordinated blasts struck different areas and came in conjunctionwith the political crisis the country has seen since the days. The Health Ministry said that the blasts that left at least59 people dead and 179 wounded. The blasts come just days after issuance of the Iraqijudicial warrant for Vice-President and leader of the Iraqi Tariq al-Hashimiaccused of supporting "terrorism", but the latter denied the chargesagainst him and demanded to transfer the file to the courts of the Kurdistanregion. Maliki also sacked his deputy, Saleh al-Mutlaq, who is alsosenior commander in the Iraqi List. The Adviser to the Prime Minister Mary Rayes told theKurdish news agency (Rn) that "the attacks on the capital behind them andtrying to leverage some of the political parties to negotiate Played on fileTareq al-Hashemi, who became, however, the Iraqi judiciary." She added that "the government will open all files asthey will not tolerate the day after the Iraqi blood that was shed by somepolitical parties and the papers clearly reveal to the public." The Iraqi government said earlier today it was about to opena file on the support and finance minister and leader of the Iraqi List, Rafieal-Issawi to death squads in the city of Fallujah. Also threatened the Prime Minister on Wednesday, replacingeight ministers belonging to the Iraqi list if they continued to boycott thegovernment, hinting at the possibility of forming a majority government policy. Although the government has signaled to the politicalparties to stand behind the bombings today, but for security and defensecommittee ruled that parliament, and accused the hardline Al-Qaeda of beingbehind. A member of the Committee Hassan Jihad (Rn) that "theexplosions today is to be expected given that there are gaps in the existingstate apparatus and computer equipment," adding, "We consider theseviolations, something natural and we used them over and over again." He says that "the bombings today and its location areone sign of al Qaeda and stand behind them," noting that "thisorganization wants to give signals that Iraq does not control the securityafter the withdrawal of U.S. forces." He added that "these explosions will fall for two yearsbut Mqubltin surprising that the explosions came with a political crisis thatexists today in the country and this raises many questions."
