uncirculd
Yes I know bank rumors or unreliable and blah blah blah, but don't worry I wasn't told a rate or anything. I know the managers and most of the employees at one of the 1st Convenience Banks here in Lubbock, so I am not going to post their information, because I don't want them to get bombarded with calls, and then I have to see them everyday. So do not ask. If you don't believe what I am about to say, that is fine. It is your prerogative. I fought for your freedom to believe or not believe me. Also most of the employees that work here have actually bought Dinar, thanks to me. Anyways, I was talking to one of the assistant managers at the bank today about the IQD, and she was telling me that they have been getting a lot of emails concerning cash in of foreign currency and what the procedures are. She proceeded to to tell me that since they can not verify the currency right there, that they will have to send it off, get the currency verified, and then the exchange will be deposited into the customers" account. Also that they are only going to allow $5,000 in cash to the customer. The rest of the money, the customer will only be allowed to transfer via bank to bank wire, cashier's check, or money orders. The one interesting thing that she said that stuck in my mind was, that she usually does not see these kind of emails except for during tax season. So her comment was something must be happening for them to send emails out like this to the branches. Anyways that is the rumor. Take it for what it is worth, and have a pleasant day! I think it is all us Dinar holders getting prepared thinking it will happen by years end. We hope so.

Canuklady
FYI, my father was killed in Vietnam when I was 11, my uncle was killed the same year when he was 18 years old. My 20 year old nephew has been serving since he was 18. I am in contact with the men who were with my father the day he died and carried his body out. Those men that you are talking about have the utmost respect and praise for all men and women in our military, past and present. Some of them have sons that are serving today. It does not matter if you were never deployed; the fact is: when you sign your name on that line, you know what could happen and you do it anyway. That, my friend, is a hero. You are the only person I have ever communicated with that has ever said such cruel things about our military as you are today. I am offended as the daughter of a solder and I am offended as an American. I agree wholeheartedly! This idea that you sign up and never see action is false and also besides the point. When you enlist, you know what can happen. Anyone who chooses to serve their country deserves our respect. I see all the offensive posts were taken down. I came back to neg. them and it looks like they are gone. Evidently, we were not the only ones who found them offensive. I also have never heard anyone in the military bash their fellow servicemen and women in this manner. I am glad the mods were all over this. In any event, I see the pattern. Someone posts good news about the IQD, and within minutes, to take the wind out of our sails, here comes a mean spirited comment or a personal attack that has nothing to do with the IQD to derail the entire thread. It happens almost every time encouraging news is posted, but today I found it especially upsetting. I have been here for 20 years and it's a great country. Becoming a citizen was a top 5 proud day for me. Came home and my neighbors had decorated our mailbox with red, white, and blue balloons. Brought tears to my eyes. This country rocks. Sorry about the loss of your family members. Hopefully this guy goes away and doesn't return. Goodnight to all the Kims, Robin, and everyone who took a stand against this today.
dhardage
so..... woman and hubby walk into a casino... yes, casino, not bank. between the two of them, they lose 200.00 in nothimg flat. they walk into the restaurant and have the worst dinner ever in life. the watress actually comped like half of it. they thimk about leaving, but her stomach starts to bother her so they decide to hang out so she doesn't have to ride for 2 hours like that. they get more cash. 5 minutes later, she wins 1100.00. they leave. end of true story.

Canuklady, Thank you for your thoughts. I agree, it was great to see everyone standing up to this person. I can usually ignore mean, spiteful comments, but this one I just couldn't let go. I would have never advocated pulling a thread down -- freedom of speech and all --- but in this case, I have to agree with the mods. And a BIG congratulations to you for chosing to become a U.S. citizen and following through with it. Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

dhardage
ok, attention all Grammar Nazis/grammar enthusiasts.......... This is only a suggestion, but never attempt to post from a Kindle while in a moving car. You'll look like a fool! My god, re-reading some of my posts tonight, one would think I was drunk! I am so proud of us, like we stood up to the bully at recess! Calling a member here a dumb a...? So out of control. I've been a citizen for several years now and this is such a great country! As far as I am concerned they can give half my taxes to the military! Have a super weekend. DHardage, sorry about your bad dining experience. Don't worry about your spelling in this thread, you got your point across just fine, and as usual, you had me cracking up on a trying day. dhardage
Awesome! Are you going to dump that $1100.00 into IQD? No, but I was trying to figure out what to do last night, and there is a restaurant I REALLY want to check out in Lubbock, rediculously expensive though. So, here is the kicker......... Hubby flies out of Lubbock to go away on business tomorrow morning. So tonight, we drive up, get an amazing hotel room, and go to that restaurant, all on the casino's dime, and I drop him at the airport in the morning and come home. It doesn't get much better than that, IMO
