should we have an R/V talk section?

Adam I have been thinking that perhaps this forum should have a R/V Talk section in this forum just like the LOP Talk section. So many on this sight are quick to tell people who believe it will R/D or LOP to take the comments to that section as opposed to having a discussion on other threads. These hardcore R/Vers are impossibly to have any form of debate with. This results in negative ratings on posts and betraying comments. Seeing that it appears most likely to R/D now I think its more appropriate that R/Vers have their own section.

What does everyone else think? Good or bad idea

THAT's a good idea. Then the RVers could freely spin their fantasies, together, for all they are worth without some LOPPER attempting to blast them back to Reality. Seriously, it is a good idea.

I thought the whole site was an r/v talk site! The idea is sound enough but it would end up being opinions, rumors, other posts etc. I believe Adam has a full house as it is. No disrespect meant but there is just a lot of sorting, due diligence, research and common sense thinking on our part to make sense out of this speculative ride. Everything that can be said about an rv has already been said many times over...the only things of substance that have not been stated as hard proven facts are...rv rate and rv date....for which we all patiently wait (at times) ...cheers

I think you should keep your topic on the lop talk section! Those that choose to believe in an rv don't want to debate you or anybody that believes as you do. Pretty simple, I think!

IMO it is those that believe it is going to LOP (?) or RD that seem to delight in coming in and straightening out those who think it will RV. There is a LOP Talk forum and those who think it will RV will go there to "straighten out" the LOPers. That may be part of our problem; we think our side is correct and we want to convince others of our opinion. And, that's what we all have, opinion. We bash those who do not agree with us. Personally, I think it is going to RV and soon. But that's me. And, I don't mind reading and even crossing swords with those who say it is going to LOP. What I think is rather asinine is our jumping on someone for even questioning our logic or argument.

People are funny. We tend to flock to those who think the same as do we. We reject and will not listen to those who think differently. We tell them that they need to study more and if they did, they would come to the same conclusion as we have. That's not necessarily true. There are smart guys on these forums who do a lot of study; yet they are in opposition to each other.

We are going to chose which forums we want to read and make our posts. To add another would not make a difference. We would still have the same challenges to out thinking, and that's good. Iron sharpens iron.
