WilliamPayne
For the past few days I have checked my currency exchange on my Yahoo! app. It keeps saying $1 = .71 IQD If this is true then that means the RATE is now up to $1.40ish? What in the world is going on with this thing? Im not the only person to have seen this as I have seen a couple of articles out there that have spoken about the same thing. Any light to be shed on the matter? 2

cajunrescuemedic
I've checked it several times a day over the past days, it had always stayed at the 1168 to 1170 to one USD. I haven't seen anything different from what I stated. 1

WilliamPayne
You idiot Im not a pumper. Do your research as of late, theres actually other threads that speak of Yahoo acting weird lately. It only happens sometimes. Every once in a while it happens then when I refresh it goes back to the original rate. Any intelligent person with a mature aspect around that can shed light? It only happens sometimes. Every once in a while it happens then when I refresh it goes back to the original rate. Any intelligent person with a mature aspect around that can shed light? I can only shed a little light. The rate is either "pushed" or "pulled" from a data source or currency partner. Here is some information that might help. I do not have time at the moment to read and interpret this information. Currency System : support: Knowledge Base. I do know however that a programmer can set a "Tick" which will show a rate at a set interval. I have no idea where these rates are coming from - but maybe this knowledge base might help. I work in the world of web applications, but I have ZERO knowledge of financial web applications.
teedoffed
did you happen to knotice that below the iqd the Euro symbol stays....and the same exchange rate stays also???.........People are jumping to conclusions and not paying attention This is exactly what happened to me yesterday and, after I got up off the floor and tried to copy the link to post here, it converted to dinar and the euro symbol went away. It doesnt automatically convert when you choose your currency comparisons. Peace out
Luigi1
That rate represents the exchange rate on the money markets in Dollars. It is not the EV ID-Dollar exchange rate..
