umbertino
They are showing you that rate.....25,000 \ 8,888 = 2.81$ :P  If that were the case (1 IQD=2.81 USD) then your 25k Dinars would be $70,250.
vetron
The math is correct ... in both calcultations presented; we just need the correct conversion denomination: .35552 cents per Dinar or 2.81 dinar to the dollar. 25000 / 8888 = 2.81278 dinar per dollar Reciprocal of 2.81278 (1/that number) = $0.35552 per dinar
Cosmo
Hahaha silly eBay seller, Trix are for kids I have a real interest on what kind of hullabaloo is going to happen on eBay when the rv happens. Typical sales count on any given moment for dinars of all types (even the saddam ones) runs from 1200 to 1400 listings. Most of them have dinars averaging about $25 to $32 per 25000 note. And much higher for the low denoms. It's been this way for as far back as October 2009 that I know of and probably earlier than that. So all the sellers are fully aware that when the RV hits and the prices change to meet the market at the other on-line selling establishments there will be a mad rush of buyers to get there dinars at lower costs while they can at eBay. The sellers are ready to make big money believe you me. Add to this the confusion about zeros, lops or no lops, and what the heck are we really getting out of the rv, I'll be glad to just watch the eBay travesty and do nothing else. I see nothing but major lawsuits on the way there. This seller has jumped the gun, I'd say just a little bit.

umbertino
Well ... There is a sucker born every minute. Last time I remember some Japanese people buying them for a high rate. Anyone rememebr that article? Yes, I do remember that... That created mistakenly ( through article titles) the idea of the "Dinar scam" in Japan when in actuality the scam part was only due to the fact those folks had been charged an exorbitant amount ( can't recall how much) for their purchases.
