Bugs
A no brainer With a stimulus package, no one gains anything which will not support any business to survive. And built within a stimulus, sombody willl loose money. In this case the motel/ hotel propriotor was the looser. Instead of pocketing the income from the hooker, he forfeit his payment back to the travler, loosing 100% of his income back to the travler (government). Trailers For Sale Or Rent
Nobody was owed anything, everybody got payed off including the proprietor that used the hundred dollars given to him to pay off a debt.
Doctor Smith
The taxes would've turned that $100 dollars into pennies by the time it was back to the hotel.
dwags
The $100 represents the "stimulus" money. First, it was given in good faith. Second, it was taken without the knowledge or approval of the Guest taxpayer) to be used by the Hotel Manager (government) as he sees fit. Second, it produced no new jobs. Third, the only producer in this story is the farmer who raised a pig for $100 costs and sold it for exactly $100 which made him no profit. Fourth, it ended back in the hands of the Guest (taxpayer) who got something for absolutely nothing (entitlement).

wbuse984
The fatal flaw is that the the taxes taken from the stimulus dollars is not taken into account. Therefore the $100 dollars returned to the Motel owner would have been more like $25.00 making him lose $75.00 (simplied math here)
Jumper
The hotel owner had no idea that the hooker would come to pay off her debt, therefore he possibly could have to pay the stranger $100 when he came downstairs!! The moral of the story is "Don't count your chickens before they are hatched."
