LET'S TALK CASHING IN!!!!!!!

Alright, so I'm a believer that we are getting seriously CLOSE to the BIG DAY. So, I have some questions about cashing in. Here's what I have been planning to do and wondering if anyone has a better plan.

For arguments sake, let's say I have 5 million dinars.

1. The RV HITS!

2. I Call Ali and make an appointment to cash in One Million (I will lock in if the rate is acceptable). I have some personal (gut feelings only) concerns about the security at Ali's branches, so will not be taking all my $ there -- Just in case. I will be locking in some precious metals and foreign currency at the same time.

3. Call banks and get rate and spread for the rest.

4. Depending on bank rates I will cash in some and set up a trust account while waiting for my appt. with Ali.

5. Here's where it gets foggy. If I don't like the bank rates or spread, I will call Ali's office back and ask if I can raise my cash out rate. Anyone know if this would work?

I have talked with quite a few people who are invested and they all have a few "foggy" spots to their plan. Can anyone help me clear the fog in my plan? I appreciate any advice/ thoughts, but please be nice.

Ali may let you lock in the extra at a different rate or not lock in the rate at all, you will just have to ask.

As far as security goes, I don't think banks will be any better than Ali.

You can always get another appointment with Ali, he said you can call in and set another appointment. I may do that as well :)

Are you all saying that if you don't like the initial rate that Ali gives you when you make your initial appointment that your rate is locked in at... that after you check with your local bank and don't get any better offer you will simply just call back and cancel that appointment w/Ali and continue watching the CBI rate spread and then call Ali back to reschedule when the rate is more to your liking?

What if all of Ali's customers played the game like that? Won't hurt to try but in all honesty I have a feeling that if you don't accept the locked in rate first given that you then may to accept the rate on the day that you do reschedule your appt for. But then that is JMO because unless there is a really good reason for having to reschedule that's an additional overhead expense for Ali.

No, I won't cancel the appointment. I realize I have to keep it for the first million, but will call back to lock in more, if banks can't match him. Just thinking it would be good to get an appointment soon with him, and secure some of the funds, while shopping around. I appreciate the thoughts.

My plan.

1. Go to my local bank and deposit/exchange.

2. Make appointments at that time with the wealth managment team at the bank for sound long term planning.

3. Go home and call lawyer and accountant to make appointment to pay all dues taxes ASAP.

4. Be humble, quiet and grateful forever knowing that silence is golden.

5. Sleep sound and live well...never having to look over my shoulder always knowing I have done the right thing to the best of my ability.

The best of luck to all!

I appreciate your thoughts, Phoenix. However, what if the spread at the bank is much higher than Ali can give you? Maybe you haven't purchased any dinar from Ali. We bought some from him to give us this option. I agree with paying all taxes. I still need to educate myself of the financial world of investing, considering I need to understand what my lawyer or accountant are talking about.. Boy, it sure feels like it's coming!

To me it does not matter.

Going to my bank is a sure thing.

Driving to some other state to an unknown temporary location to deal with persons I know nothing about whom I have never met who will close shop and be gone in the near future is NOT a sure thing for me.

My local bank that has been here for years in my town is like holding a bird in my hand....Ive got it! It is sure.

Traveling far away to an unknown temporary location to deal with unknown persons is like the 2 birds in a bush....yes I may get more money (2 birds instead of 1 bird) but to get the two birds in the bush I must first let go of my one bird in the hand and risk losing it all.

What if I give up the one bird in my hand (cashing it at my local bank) and something happens with the two birds in a bush (going out of town or state to an unknown temporary location) and something happens? The birds (money) slip away?

I am then left with nothing.

For me I will go with that which is secure and safe....my local bank in my town and for go letting go of the sure thing I have by dealing with them to chance loosing it all by going after more.

"A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush."

If that wisdom was sound enough for Solomon who was said to be the wisest man who ever lived...then it is good enough for me.

You will only have one chance at this....why risk it?

I was an Airborne Ranger in the United States Army and we had a very long tradition that dates back to Major Roger Roberts and the Rogers Rangers.

Even tho the Ranger Standing Orders penned by Major Roberts were issued in 1875 they are still memonized by all Rangers to this day.

Order number 5 states: "Don't never take a chance you don't have to."

And by driving to an unknown temporary location to deal with people I have never met with that much money is taking a chance I don't have to.

So for me...I will stick with the wisdom of Soloman and the soundness of the "Standing Orders of Major Robert Rogers".

But hey....that's just me.

Best of luck to all!

Phoenix.

Standing Orders Rogers Rangers 1875

1. Don't forget nothing.

2. Have your musket clean as a whistle, hatchet scoured, sixty rounds powder and ball, and be ready to march at a minute's warning.

3. When you're on the march, act the way you would if you was sneaking up on a deer. See the enemy first.

4. Tell the truth about what you see and what you do. There is an army depending on us for correct information. You can lie all you please when you tell other folks about the Rangers, but don't never lie to a Ranger or officer.

5. Don't never take a chance you don't have to.

6. When we're on the march we march single file, far enough apart so one shot can't go through two men.

7. If we strike swamps, or soft ground, we spread out abreast, so it's hard to track us.

8. When we march, we keep moving till dark, so as to give the enemy the least possible chance at us.

9. When we camp, half the party stays awake while the other half sleeps.

10. If we take prisoners, we keep 'em separate till we have had time to examine them, so they can't cook up a story between 'em.

11. Don't ever march home the same way. Take a different route so you won't be ambushed.

12. No matter whether we travel in big parties or little ones, each party has to keep a scout twenty yards ahead, twenty yards on each flank and twenty yards in the rear, so the main body can't be surprised and wiped out.

13. Every night you'll be told where to meet if surrounded by a superior force.

14. Don't sit down to eat without posting sentries.

15. Don't sleep beyond dawn. Dawn's when the French and indians attack.

16. Don't cross a river by a regular ford.

17. If somebody's trailing you, make a circle, come back onto your own tracks, and ambush the folks that aim to ambush you.

18. Don't stand up when the enemy's coming against you. Kneel down, lie down, hide behind a tree.

19. Let the enemy come till he's almost close enough to touch. Then let him have it and jump out and finish him with your hatchet.

Arrive the day before or a couple days before. Do some Advance work.

1) Conduct a Recon, Drive to the location. Know exactly the office

you have to go to. Yes, get out of your car and walk right to the front

desk, confirm that this is the place you must come to.

2) If possible do not go to your appointment alone, have at least someone to

drive you as close the front door as possible. Get out of the car and walk directly & briskly

to your known location. Then your driver can park and wait for you. Call your Driver,

after you turn in your Dinar, and have them pick you up at the drop off

point, do not come out of the building until you see the car, pull up. This is important

he is running overwatch on the building and the parking lot. Your driver can

call if the situation in the Parking Lot has changed since you went in.

I am lucky, our Dinar Club is flush with former Rangers (RI's), SF, Force Recon etc.

I am very confident there will be limited problems.

3) Be aware of any vehicles following, if everything is cool. Well, than congrats your

a freaking Millionaire (Thank God!).

Am I being Paranoid! Yes, I have been to enough **** Holes in this World to know

there are really bad people out there.

I guess I must still be in the embryonic stage of "STEP ONE" where good folks are saying: First I will go to my local bank and cash in then I'd this and then I'd that and then......

WELL step ONE to me, is what I'm finding to be the hardest part right now. I get and understand all the dilligence AFTER that. Financial planners, Tax specialists, attorneys etc.

The hardest part is the logistics of TAKING OUR PHYSICAL DINAR AND CHANGING INTO OUR PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNT WITH US DOLLARS. BAMM! DONE!! If we haven't done that step, the other tedious issues of paying our taxes, doing best for our local bank, watching who's behind us..... is all mute.

MY PLAN WAS....

At first, I thought....Ok, simple. Drive to Bentonville (800 miles) with or without appointment, get in line (figuratively) at Dinar Trade and have the funds wired. I've set up our Citbank account for that. Then it was mentioned and fearfully too, that there might be a real short time to cash in.

So I secondly thought...Ok drive to Dallas (150 miles) to my closest BB&T bank and cash in there, not taking into an account any "spread or fee" issues but to just get in done.

Then I read how Dinar banker might have a process that might work and save us some money....until I read on their website that if it gets REAL busy on "cash in" they would put non-clients to back of line.

I know I'm not giving anyone a good plan. HECK if I had one, I'd be the first to share it with you new friends!! Check the box that pertains right?

? This guy is worried about too much.

? Waaayyyy to over analytical>

? Sheesh guy...just go to the bank and get it done.

? He's asking what I'd ask. Find the answers. Work your plan.

If it weren't maybe THE most important process in our lives, I could be more relaxed. Thanks for being patient and if not, in any case, Thanks.

16. Don't cross a river by a regular ford-------------.written by PHEONIX----

Read more:  so i should buy a CHEVY -4X4- or a DODGE -4X4-or an AMPHIBIOUS Vehicle? I take it as in do-not drive a 2WD while trying this. Being a Good Ole boy from the North (Canada) - who lives in the Southern most parts-there are some RedNecks up here also. What we would normally do is use a canoe.( but we are willing to learn new things)There are those out there who would sink a good truck :o but being a ford man i guess it makes sense to use -- Thats what i call being Ford tough.;):P:lol::lol:

I live in sw. florida and don't know of any personaly that claim they will deal with the dinar or admitt they know anything about it.By the way solomen never made the statement one bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.I'm 99.9999999% sure of that  The rangerstuff sounds like decent enough advice but i'm pretty sure any where in the Us you can hire security of some sort .I however do agree . i would much rather call a banker and make an appointment and walk right thru the front doors anonomus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
