HEY EVERYONE...I THINK I SAW A SMALL BILL TODAY. WITH NOTHING ELSE TO DO I DECIDED TO CHECK OUT THE SITE WHERE I HAVE WATCHED THE PARLIMENT MEETINGS. THEY WERE GOING THROUGH THE STREETS AND TALKING TO SHOPKEEPERS . (ALL IN ARABIC OF COURSE) WHEN THE CAMERA WENT TO A TABLE AND SHOWED A SMALL BOWL WITH LOTS OF GOLD COINS IN IT AND SITTING NEXT TO IT WAS A SMALL BLUE $1 DINAR. THEN THEY FOCUSED ON THE SHOPKEEPER WHO POINTED TO IT AND SMILED LIKE IT WAS A BIG DEAL. JUST THOUGHT I WOULD LET YOU KNOW. DID ANYONE ELSE SEE IT. POURITFORWARD http://www.albaghdadia.com/livehigh

Hopefully you really did see a lower denom bill!

Aside from the possible great news your post brings I just want to say I am less than a month involved in this but I absolutely love reading your posts so please keep them coming!

OF COURSE NOW I AM GOING FROM MEMORY BUT I AM PRETTY POSITIVE THAT THE BILL I SAW WAS DIFFERENT THAN THE OLD BILLS. IT WAS MORE OF A BRILLIANT DEEP BLUE. ACTUALLY I FOCUSED ON THREE THINGS...COLOR...THE $1...AND THE SIZE...AS WELL AS I WAS LOOKING FOR SADAMS PICTURE...WHICH WASN'T THERE. WHAT STRUCK ME WAS THAT THE SHOP OWNER WAS SO INTRIGUED WITH IT AND THE COINS. WHO KNOWS. WE ALL JUST HAVE TO KEEP ON KEEPIN ON TILL IT'S DONE. POURITFORWARD

Wish we could hear what they are talking about. I can't help but think it has something to do with the forming of the GOI or could it be something even closer to our hearts? I am still watching looking for the store keeper with the Dinar, but if they go to point to what could be the new Dinar...ya gotta wonder what they must be talking about. Can anyone get an idea of the interviews and their content?

AGAIN I COULD BE WRONG BUT I HAVE LOOKED AT THE OLD BILLS SEVERAL TIMES AND STILL BELIEVE THAT THE BILL I SAW WAS DARKER BLUE. I AM FRUSTRATED THAT I DIDN'T LOOK AT THE PICTURE ON IT. IT MAY HAVE BEEN A 1973 BILL BUT I JUST DON'T THINK SO. HEY...MAYBE IN A WEEK OR SO WE WON'T CARE IF IT IS PINK WITH BLACK AND ORANGE POLKADOTS. IF YOU DO SEE ONE...FOCUS ON THE PICTURE AS THAT WILL TELL ALOT. POURITFORWARD
