  1. Unfortunately, this doesn't always reach soldiers. This coming year O will give the military the lowest pay raise since the draft went into effect in Vietnam. On top of that, there is legislation being passed to move the age when soldiers can receive retirement benefits to 65! (Currently, soliders can retire and start receiving benefits after a minimum of 20 years of active service) You wonder where the nation's deficit is being paid from....look no further than the lowly solider who is used to taking the shaft!
  2. Rumaila oil output to raise 10pct in November Wednesday, 17 Nov 2010 British oil major BP and partners were expected to meet an initial target of 10% rise in output from the Rumaila oilfield, the backbone of Iraq's crude production by end November. Mr Abdul Kareem Luaibi deputy oil minister of Iraq said the ministry was also examining how a consortium led by Italy's ENI managed to boost output from the Zubair oilfield by more than 10%. He said that we expect to achieve the 10 percent increase by the end of this month. For Zubair, there is an increase but it is under study. The increase was more than 10% from Zubair. The ministry would announce the rise officially after it had been studied and tested. BP and Chinese partner CNPC signed 20 year development contract for Rumaila and expect to increase output to 2.85 million barrel per day in 6 years. The group agreed on a baseline production level of 1.066 million bpd. ENI, along with US based Occidental Petroleum Corp and Kogas, sealed a 20 year contract with Iraq to develop the Zubair oilfield. They set an output target of 1.2 million barrel per day and agreed on a baseline production level of 183,000 barrel per day. The deals were part of a series of contracts Iraq signed with oil companies to develop its vast oil reserves. If all the projects turn out as planned, Iraq could boost its capacity to Saudi levels of 12 million barrel per day. Mr Luaibi said that Iraq will start paying development costs next year to oil companies that won contracts to develop the reserves after they reach initial output targets. For the 2011 budget, we have allocated a certain amount of money to pay costs to the companies who deserve payment. He said that BP, CNPC, US Company ExxonMobil and Russia group Lukoil were among companies interested in funding part of the export projects. We are in the stage of preparing the tender documents and we are about to sign with a consultancy to verify these documents for us and we will announce it soon. 3. POURIT, there was also a darker blue colored ONE DINAR BILL from 1971, also on the web link below... Perhaps this is the one you saw ? http://www.banknotes.com/i.htm
  4. This sarcasm seems strangely familiar........
  5. 8) 2011 BUDGET WAS JUST APPROVED ...HUGE...THIS HOLDS THE NEW RV RATE I have not seen anything confirming this.....Am I missing something? If so, has anybody had a chance to look at the budget to see if the RV is embedded?
  6. Thank you so much! This has everything I needed to know!!!
  7. Can someone help me out here? I remember reading back a ways that Ali at Dinar Trade was going to be setting up additional locations to cashin after the RV..... I went to their website but only saw the addresses for Santa Monica, CA and Brentwood, TN. I'm sure there were supposed to be more, but I can't find it on their site. I emailed Ali, but that was a week ago and haven't heard anything back. Can someone in the know provide a list of the locations? Thanks!
  8. Is this the new 1 Dinar bill? http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-8457010/stock-photo--dinar-biil-of-iraq.html Sorry, that one was the bill from 1973...... This link shows the bills and what year they are from ...... http://www.banknotes.com/i.htm
  9. You're alright in my book; we've all been there.....
  10. This follows close to what Viper51 just posted
  11. Wow, if they do that, then the cat's out of the bag for the whole world to see! Otherwise, it will be based off the USD to avoid the confusion they had with last year's budget? So now the big question is: When will the 2011 BUDGET be released??? (let me guess, "soon")
  12. Hopefully Steve can confirm the small bills out on the streets once he gets to Baghdad....
  13. Eid Al-Adha is celebrated at different times in different countries, from what I have researched. Regardless, the GOI should be completely seated before the week is done and hopefully the RV will follow shortly after.... IMO, I'm still gunning for the 18th as it is a Thursday and the gurus said it would happen at the end of the week, (Thursday being the end of the work week for them). I guess we'll just have to wait and see....
  14. I have to admit, after reading the chat session from Phoenix dated 11/21/2009 last night.... It got my hopes down because it read just the same as what are on the boards this week.... But it's only one post right? Things will be different this time around....
  15. Welcome Back Possum, we missed Ya!!! Sounds like you've been in a coma for a couple weeks. Rates are being quoted much higher than that, but we'll see now, won't we????
  16. I went out to the CDARS site to see which banks around my area were part of the program. I noticed that Bank of America and Wells Fargo are not part of the program. I'm interested in doing my cashin through Ali at DT (in order to possibly save thousands on xfer fees), but now my concern is not being able to use the CDARS program if I go through this way...... Any comments or advice? Thx
  17. As always, I admire you for your tact and postitive bearing when posting. You always take the time to provide us with well thought out intel that's written for all to clearly understand. Glad to see you are still with us, as it would be a shame for the work that you and your team has done to be cut off so close to the end.... God bless you in all you do....
  18. Thanks Nick! I was thinking the same thing. Even if they did wait until all 30 positions are filled, they are under a compressed timeline to expedite the process. No matter how you look at it, the avalanche has started and there's no stopping it now!!!
  19. Food for thought.... It just occurred to me that even though this seems like a very updated, informed source.... Pls keep in mind we don't know anything about this individual and what or who he represents.... All I'm saying is, keep things in prospective here until verified by multiple sources.... GO RV!!!
  20. You don't need to setup an account or anything... Just follow the link provided on the first post and it will take you to the update.... Also, for those interested, 7:00PM Iraq time is only a few short minutes away! (11:00AM EST)!!!
  21. Twitter is kind of like Facebook or Myspace.... It is a place that people can log into online and post what is on their mind....
  22. November 18th is Eid Al-Adha for Iraq. There was a news article that said they aim to have the government completed by then....
  23. IMO, this will go to at least the 15th of the month. As I posted a couple days ago, they're waiting for the knuckle heads to come back from the Hajj. They are going to drag their heals up until Eid Al-Adha....(16-20 NOV)
