Shafaq News / It has become almost usual for US President Joe Biden to get confused and lose his tongue. For the second time in a week, the Democratic leader suspected a European leader and her deceased predecessor, as he said during an election event that he met German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, who died in 2017, instead of Anguilla. Merkel.

 

The 81-year-old Biden's misstep came late Wednesday, days after he said that he spoke to the late French President François Mitterrand instead of current President Emmanuel Macron, while also talking about the same G7 summit that was held in June 2021.

 

Biden, who is seeking re-election to a second term next November, often repeats the same story about the summit held in Britain, to highlight what he describes as global fears of the January 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol building by supporters of former President Donald Trump.

 

Biden said, according to a media report, “Helmut Kohl from Germany looked at me and said: What would you say, Mr. President, if you picked up the London Times newspaper tomorrow morning and learned that a thousand people broke down the doors of the British Parliament and killed some people on their way in to prevent the Prime Minister from taking office?”

 

Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel was the leader attending the summit, while Kohl, known as the architect of German reunification after the Cold War, died in 2017 after holding the chancellorship for 16 years between 1982 and 1998.

I was listening to him on TV a little while ago.  He was talking about the supreme court case that was heard today.  They were talking about Trump, and the case from Colorado, where they took Trump off the ballot.    I swear it was the Biden double out there tonight.  That guy in front of the camera was too coherent  for it to be the REAL Sleepy Joe.  I think we need to have that investigated.   I'll have to watch FOX News after while, and see what they are sayin', and see if any of them think it was sleepy Joe's stand in.
