The Iraq Stock Exchange trades one billion shares in a week

Shafaq News / During the last week of May, the Iraqi Stock Exchange organized five trading sessions, from Sunday, May 28 to Thursday.

 

A market statement received by Shafaq News agency stated; The number of shares traded during this week amounted to more than (1) billion shares, while the value of shares traded this week amounted to more than (2) billion dinars.

 

According to the statement; The trading index in the market for the first session of the week closed at (633.58) points, while the index closed at the end of the week at (632.58) points, achieving a decrease of (0.16%) from its closing at the beginning of the session.

 

He pointed out that during the week, more than (2400) buying and selling contracts were executed on the shares of the companies listed in the market.
