The Central Bank of Iraq confirmed today, Sunday, that it will continue to finance the requests of citizens wishing to buy housing units through the housing lending initiative, and all requests that were previously submitted to the banks included in the initiative and the Iraqi Housing Fund will be funded according to the controls established for the initiative.

The Housing Fund launches more than 5 thousand loans in two months

The Housing Fund granted more than 5 thousand loans during the past two months of January and February, and announced that the number of absolute loans during the past year reached 37 thousand loans. A source in the Fund's media office told Al-Sabah: The number of loans granted by the Housing Fund during the past year amounted to 37,131 loans, explaining that the amount of loans amounted to more than one trillion and 600 million dinars. He pointed out that the number of loans granted by the Fund during the months of January The second and February of the past two years amounted to 5566 loans. The source indicated that the Central Bank’s grant allocated to the fund amounted to 5 trillion dinars for the period from 2016 until last year, pointing to the increase in loans granted after facilitating procedures in all its stages and the transition to electronic work, in addition to activating the breast health system electronically Which led to the elimination of the administrative red tape that accompanies the process of granting loans.

Today, Monday, the Central Bank raised gold prices by 0.3%.

 

According to the daily bulletin, the Central Bank decided to raise the price of gold by 0.3%, as the prices were as follows:

 

Coins of 22 grams, 1,893,000 dinars

 

5 gm ingot 405,000 dinars

 

Ingot 10 grams 800.250 dinars

 

15 gm ingot 1,203,000 dinars

 

20 g ingot 1,613,500 dinars

 

25 gm ingot 2,025,500 dinars
