Shafaq News/ On Saturday, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called on the local government in Karbala governorate to limit the task of securing the fortieth visit of Imam Hussein to the security forces and to prevent the Popular Mobilization and "Peace Brigades", the military wing of the movement from doing so, urging at the same time visitors not to do so. Raising political slogans during the performance of the visit ceremony.

Al-Sadr said in a lengthy tweet, which he posted on the social networking sites “Twitter”, “I address my words to the official authorities, especially the local official authorities in Karbala. ".

He added, "All Iraqis must exercise restraint and avoid friction. Rather, they must cooperate with the security forces and not raise partisan, militia, or even crowd or current slogans, in order to preserve the safety of visitors, guests and holy places."

Al-Sadr continued by saying, "This does not mean that we meet with the corrupt under the tent of Imam Hussein, no and a thousand no. Rather, we do not want harm to the guests and visitors in general, as we do not pledge allegiance to the likes of them, and that life with them is twirling, and death without them is happiness."

Tensions escalated sharply on Monday, August 29, when Sadr loyalists stormed the government palace inside the fortified Green Zone after their leader announced his "retirement" from politics.

But Sadr's supporters left the Green Zone on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 30, 2022, after he personally asked them to withdraw within an hour, reflecting his great influence on his followers and which earned him his reputation as a ruler.

At least 30 of al-Sadr's supporters were shot dead and about 600 were wounded during nearly twenty-four hours of clashing with other Shiite factions, while the crowd gathered four of his supporters who said they had fallen on duty.

On the evening of Wednesday, August 31, armed clashes erupted in the Basra Governorate in southern Iraq between members of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq movement led by Qais al-Khazali.

And Saraya al-Salam affiliated with the leader of the Sadrist movement, and ended with the killing of four people on both sides, before the security forces were able to impose their control.

A fragile truce until after the "Arba'een visit" and attempts to expel factions from the Green Zone

Baghdad / Tamim Al-Hassan

Two weeks of an undeclared truce between most of the political and field parties, after a week of escalation, described as a "fragile truce" that could be breached at any moment.

Political activities and protest movements began to take a backtracking position on the escalation that prevailed in the scene in the last days of last August, until after the visit of the Arba'een of Imam Hussein.

Factions closed offices in the south of the country, and there are efforts to clear the Green Zone of some gunmen who are believed to have participated in the events of last week.

Supporters of the "October Revolution" also decided, after demonstrations close to the Judicial Council in Baghdad, to postpone demonstrations they described as "major" until after the fortieth visit.

This comes with messages from the Najaf authority, which stated that it was "not satisfied" with what happened, in conjunction with Western reports that talked about the first's intervention to stop the recent clashes.

On the other hand, however, “scenarios” of armed conflict may be repeated between followers of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, and armed factions, especially after the “rehearsal of Basra” last Thursday night.

Also, an expected decision of the Federal Court, scheduled for the middle of the armistice (next Wednesday) on the dissolution of Parliament, may lead to the transfer of the crisis again to the street, if it comes in opposition to the interest of any of the parties to the conflict.

Well-informed political sources confirmed to (Al-Mada) that: "The last meeting of the coordination framework at the house of the leader of the state of law, Nuri al-Maliki, discussed the truce steps."

The source, a politician close to the "framework", indicated that "the meeting, as part of the steps to reduce the escalation, decided to postpone the holding of a new session of Parliament until after the Arba'in visit."

Immediately after the events of Al-Khadra, last week, the "frameworkers" called for the resumption of parliament's work.

This call provoked al-Sadr, who had just ordered his followers to withdraw from "Al-Khadra" after a night of clashes in which at least 30 people were killed.

The call to postpone the parliament's resumption comes at a time when the "framework" is facing difficulties in convincing the Sovereignty Alliance, the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the independents to attend.

Also, the "framework" crisis was not only with the partners outside the Shiite system, but also with the inside, where Hadi al-Amiri, the leader of the Badr Organization, remained rejecting and defending a settlement with al-Sadr.

Al-Amiri, according to information received by (Al-Mada) and shared by some Shiite wings within the "Coordination Committee", saw that there was a "danger" in the council's convening and might increase the anger of the Sadrists.

The "commander of the leader", Salih Muhammad al-Iraqi, had described Al-Attar's calls for the convening of parliament as "insolent", and asked them to declare mourning for the victims of the Al-Khadra clashes before it turned into their "first enemy."

According to previous investigations announced by the government following the events of the Green Zone, leaks indicate that the first requested "evacuating the area from the protections of some leaders of the framework and the factions", shortly after a similar call by "Minister Al-Sadr."

Channels on "Telegram" close to the Sadrist movement had shown a video clip of two blindfolded men talking about the role of the "crowd" on the night of the clashes in Baghdad.

The two men who later published recordings saying that they were forced to make these confessions, said in the first recording that they belong to the "Badr Organization", and they were transferred from Salah al-Din to the Green Zone on the day of the clashes.

Two days later, the two men, who were wearing military uniforms, claimed that they had been "kidnapped" and forced to recount the story that appeared in the first recording.

Offices closed after tension in Basra

As part of the efforts to calm down, Qais al-Khazali, the leader of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, decided to close all the movement's offices, after a warning from the "minister of the leader" and limited clashes in Basra with "Asaib."

Basra Governor Asaad Al-Eidani said that the situation in the province is "under control, safe, and security forces are deployed."

The Security Media Cell stated, in a statement, that "some social media sites circulated conflicting reports about security incidents and disturbances in Basra Governorate. We would like to point out that the issue is a murder incident in the governorate center and another injury.”

Video clips showed clashes in Basra on Wednesday night and last Thursday, and gunmen appeared to block the streets with barricades.

At the time, the former spokesman for the Sadrist movement, "Abu Russell Al-Iraqi," vowed to respond immediately to any new "operation of treachery."

And the Iraqi said in a tweet, last Thursday, "Our men in Basra have warmed our hearts after there was heartburn and pain for our martyrs who were slain by the bullets of cowards, and this was nothing but a little thing."

"Any treacherous operation will be met with immediate and crushing deterrence," he added.

The Minister of Sadr, through his Twitter account on Thursday, published a statement entitled “I warn you, Qais,” in which he asked him to “rein in” his militias and to “disavow murderers and criminals,” and stop “disregarding the blood of the people, whoever they are,” he said, with other expressions. more severe.

For his part, Khazali called on his supporters not to respond negatively to the "abuses" directed at him personally. And he said, through his account on Twitter: "There are those who are stalking us and wanting to aggravate matters, so they missed the opportunity for these people and thwarted their plan by remaining silent, as a closeness to God."

He added, "I ask the brothers in Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq to close all the movement's offices, starting from now and until further notice, and any office that wants to be burned, let them burn it."

In a similar move, the "Imam Ali Brigades", one of the crowd's factions, decided to close its office in Basra Governorate as well, to "ward off sedition."

According to a book by the "Islamic Movement of Iraq - Imam Ali Brigades," it was "decided to close the movement's office in Basra to ward off sedition and close the doors in the face of the parties that want to develop discord and discord among the brothers."

Before that, Al-Amiri had called for what he described as "political silence" until the end of the Arbaeen visit after mid-September.

But Sadr's minister had responded, rejecting that call, and attacked in a tweet on Wednesday evening, Nouri al-Maliki, who accused him of killing "Shiites and Sunnis."

The escalation of the current did not stop at that, as Al-Sadr's minister requested to change the head of the Popular Mobilization Committee, Faleh Al-Fayyad, against the background of the Green events.

He also demanded the "minister of the leader" to remove the popular crowd from the Green Zone, and to strengthen it in the liberated areas.

Al-Sadr explains a hadith related to Imam Hussein through four theses

Baghdad - people

The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, presented, on Wednesday, an explanation of a hadith related to Imam Hussein, through four theses.

Al-Sadr said in a tweet on “Twitter” followed by people, (September 7, 2022), “I highlight the hadith that says: (Hussain is from me and I am from Hussein), as for Imam Hussein being from the Messenger, this is clear, so the important thing is to shed light on the second part. It is the fact that the Messenger of God is from al-Husayn.

He continued, "In this there are several theses, including: The first thesis: the well-known thesis, which states that Al-Hussein with his revolution and jihad was a major and important reason for the survival of the mention of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family and his good companions. Meaning that the continuation of the mention of the Messenger from Al-Hussein and the cause of Imam Al-Hussain." .

And he added, “And I will not be satisfied with this amount, but rather we will go to: The second thesis: It was mentioned in the hadith of Al-Kisa’ that it reads: (God Almighty said: O my angels and inhabitants of my heavens, I did not create a built sky, a flat earth, a luminous moon, a luminous sun, a revolving orbit, or There is a running sea and no ship that sails except in the love of these five who are under the cloak.) So, the five lights, may God’s peace be upon them all, are the cause of creation and for their sake and for the sake of their love God created creation. Including the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family. Therefore, Imam Hussein is an important cause in the creation of the Messenger (in this world), just as he, may God bless him and grant him peace, was a more important cause in the creation of Imam Hussein.”

And between, "The third thesis: It was mentioned in the hadith: You and I were created from the light of God...or from one light...this is the content of the hadith. And Hussein too, and since they were created from one light, each of them has a reason to create the other, meaning that the part needs the whole and the whole needs the part.

He said: "The fourth thesis: This hadith indicates their oneness, so to speak, and that the Messenger wanted by it to draw the attention of the deniers to the fact that he and Imam Hussein are inseparable, and if they separate, the matter will be incomplete. It has a clear indication of the entitlement of the infallibles to the caliphate in general and Imam Hussein in particular. The complete thesis and the just state will not be completed without the presence of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him... In other words: they are the peace of God upon them. Each one is indivisible, but rather complements each other.
