Cairo, Aug. 21 (AKnews) – The general secretary assistant of economic affairs of the Arab League said on Saturday that the next Arab summit in Baghdad will give the country great economic and political support, calling the Arab Capitalists to invest in Iraq instead of investing in foreign countries.

Iraq is expected to host the 23rd Arab Summit in 2011.

Mohammad Bin Ibrahim Al-Tuwaijri, ambassador and the general secretary assistant of economic affairs of the Arab League told AKnews, “Iraq is a rich country in natural resources and wealth, but the investments are investments are subjected to political stability and established security which we hope to reach with the formation of the new government.”

According Tuwaijri “the economic sector at the league seeks to facilitate the work and investment among Arab countries, including Iraq.”

He also stated that the most crucial step is to grant an immediate visa for Arab investors to travel to regional countries, noting that Iraq agreed on this proposal.

The government wont be formed by the first, so, I'm not sure the 1st is a viable date... But the 15th still gives us plenty of time , because they would have until the 13th to form and annouce the RV. Then on the 15th the new rate would take effect ( if I understood what Scooter posted in his three post bonaza.)
