ronscarpa
Remember, no one really knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... RON *** Clare TAKE NOTE EVERYONE: Article: “Legal expert Ahmed Al-Abadi revealed that if Parliament fails to pass the President of the Republic, the current president will continue his duties normally, until the next elections are held after 4 years”. AND PARLIAMENT HAS BEEN VOTED IN AND THEY ARE WORKING…IMO. *** Godlover I believe we will have our answer within the first quarter, good or bad. I expect the government to be seated, budget read, voted on & passed by parliament within the first quarter. The opening of the 2022 budget is the ultimate thing I look for. Whatever it opens at, I believe will be the rate they use for the whole year. Not much here ...! 10
JonnyV
Guru Clare made an interesting statement. If true, this is why Sadr & the Kurds boycotted the Parliament session today. It makes sense to keep Saleh there as President by default to get things done since parliament is working. They were told not to vote on the president of the republic which in turn triggered Saleh to stay as president until whenever, allowing progress. In other threads, Al-Halbousi has directed the Council of Ministers to send the 2022 Budget to Parliament for the purpose of approving it in the service of the Iraqi people. IMO, this screams a rate must be in the budget for approval for the Iraqi citizens. 1 4 1
