Earth News/ The Independent High Electoral Commission announced today, Thursday, the formation of technical committees to examine the electronic verification, counting and sorting devices.

The commission said in a statement seen by "Earth News", that "in order to preserve the infrastructure for the work of the Electoral Commission, the Board of Commissioners directed all electoral district offices to form specialized technical committees whose task is to examine the 57,944 electronic verification devices."

She added that "the devices for accelerating results (electronic sorting and counting) will also be examined for the purpose of examining them and ensuring their readiness for the upcoming electoral events, in coordination with the Korean (Miro) company, according to the warranty period agreed upon in the terms of the concluded contract."

The Commission redistributes biometric cards drawn in special voting
  
{Political: Al Furat News} The Electoral Commission announced today, Saturday, the redistribution of the biometric cards drawn in the special vote.

The commission said in a statement, which Al-Furat News received a copy of, that "at the direction of the Board of Commissioners, the Electoral Commission will redistribute the cards drawn on polling day from the military and the displaced, in the middle of next week."

She indicated that this will be done "through the registration centers affiliated to the electoral district offices spread throughout Iraq, each according to the geographical area of the voter's residence, after the electronic inventory of those cards was completed."

And she added: "The Commission is coordinating with the security institutions for the purpose of urging their employees to review and receive."
