8-19-2019   Newshound Guru chattels   Article quote:   "The delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government will go to Baghdad during the coming days based on the previous mutual visits, where it was decided to form committees on the oil and budget and Article 140."    I am slightly hopeful that Mahdi can resolve some issues with the Kurds. The Kurds seem to like and trust him.  The political forces opposing Mahdi in Baghdad are substantial. Many would just as soon crush the Kurds.  Rightfully or wrongly, I have believed for a long time that stability in Iraq and the eventuality of our liquidity event depend upon the Kurds indirectly. Mahdi seems our best hope for stability in Iraq, IMO.

8-19-2019   Newshound Guru Kaperoni   Article:  "Parliamentary Finance Committee intends to raise the price of the dinar against the dollar and give it strength among other currencies."   :twothumbs:

8-19-2019   Newshound Guru Don961   Article:  "...Coins that have been used in Iraq over the past decades must be restored"

8-19-2019   Intel Guru Frank26   Article quote:  "...The Finance Committee in the House of Representatives revealed that there is a tendency to reintroduce the coin, which has been used for decades in the country, while members of the Committee proposed to pre-empt the coin minting process by "deleting zeros" from the current currencies to be of value to the small cash groups."

8-19-2019   Intel Guru Delta    [Q? When do they do 2020 budget?]  PARLIAMENT WILL GET IT NEXT MONTH...

8-19-2019   Intel Guru Frank26   Hypothetical Question:  Okay, I'm at the bank...What do I do now?  ...Start bartering..!  It depends on your power and how many you have...if not you don't have room to barter...remember what I told you, You are Mr. Clampett.  They are Mr. Drysdale.  Act accordingly.  Demand what is yours.  Do not settle for anything less...

8-19-2019   Newshound/Intel Guru Dinar Investor - Jeff   Iraq is not Article VIII until they physically make their currency internationally recognized and/or they change the rate...roughly from the beginning of 2018...Iraq started rolling out the MasterCards and the Visas suggesting they're now international.  They're partially international. Not 100%.  Here's what it is.  The Iraqi citizens have to be able to travel abroad and purchase things off the internet and live a normal life the way you and I do...Don't get too excited about this because they've been doing this since the beginning of 2018...it's nothing to get too excited about because they've been doing this for over a year now...It's good news regardless.  It shows we're getting close, but it's nothing to get super excited about...

8-19-2019   Intel Guru RayRen98   Iraqi TV was broadcasting that the government is implementing reforms to attract investment revenue News casters are reporting that citizens receiving the new cards has surpassed 80% with 90% completion projected in the coming days.  Western Union announced that effective Sunday, citizens will be able to send Dinar outside of the country.

:tiphat:That's all there is Folks...!  Have a good night's sleep...RON
