Education shows the fact of finding a huge sum of money under the University of Mosul

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - 
The Ministry of Higher Education issued a clarification on Wednesday on the finding of a sum of money at the University of Mosul, pointing out that the amount found was 11 million and one hundred and fifty thousand seven hundred and fifty dinars. 
In a statement received by Mawazine News, the ministry said, "While appreciating the effective role of the Fourth Authority in investigating and monitoring information and transmitting the facts, we call upon the press institutions and the media to investigate the issues that concern our national institutions, And the university, as the circulation of some satellite channels news of finding large sums of money in the old building to the presidency of the University of Mosul, accusing the university of obscuring the real amount.
She added that "the amount of the amount found under the ruins of the building of the presidency of the old university is eleven million and one and fifty thousand seven hundred and fifty dinars," noting that "the amount contains bad currency." 
"The amount was handed over to the Finance Department after the formation of a specialized committee for this purpose." 
Arab media and newspapers reported reports that 10 million dollars were found under rubble at Mosul University.
