umb's note. the party's official name had been "Lega Nord" ( Northern league) since the very beginning....They used to talk about having the interests at heart ONLY of Northern Italians and used to talk bad ( even with real racist tones) against Southern Italians even ( you can imagine how  they talk and reason on Immigrants....) ...
 
In the last months ( we go to vote next Sunday) he very usefully changed the name in just "Lega" ( League") eliminating the discriminatory adjective " Northern" .....ONLY ( obviously) for his electoral expectations.....Not much more to add......
