Kuwaiti MP warns against IMIS mobilization at borders

Kuwaiti parliamentarian Waleed al-Tabtabie has warned on Twitter against the mobilization of IMIS terrorist militias at the Kuwaiti-Iraqi borders.

Tabtabie Said on his tweet that the movements of IMIS near al-Abdali camp in southern Iraq close to the Kuwaiti-Iraqi borders confirmed the Kuwaiti concerns over the IMIS presence at its northern borders.

These concerns come in the wake an announcement from Kuwait authorities to send 4 brigades from the Special Forces to secure its borders in case of any encroachment on Kuwaiti lands.

Kuwait Interior Ministry has sent a special brigade from the Kuwaiti Army Armored Division to the borders to perform special exercises on securing the borders on the ground.

Earlier, activists have released photos of deployment of hundreds of IMIS terrorist elements near the Kuwaiti borders.

Twilight News / US Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Kuwaiti Acting Oil Talal Nasser Alazba was form a committee between his country and Iraq to develop a "best model" to organize the fields between the two countries. 
He said the Commission by technicians from the Kuwaiti side and that of the Ministry of Oil and Kuwait Oil Company, noting that the land and sea borders with the Republic of Iraq has been demarcated according to UN Security Council Resolution 833. 

He explained Alazba Talal in the press on the sidelines of the organization of the Ministry of Oil 's remarks Symposium 80 years on the discovery of oil in Kuwait , oil prices and cohesive organization after OPEC decision to cut production levels and which entered into force since the beginning of the year. 
He pointed out that the high commitment from both inside and outside of OPEC was the key factor in the improvement in oil prices, noting that the commitment in the OPEC countries , the proportion exceeded 90%, and outside more than 50%, and expected more commitment in the coming months, and ruled out the arrival of prices to levels Previous and that more than $ 100 a barrel, especially as the oil stocks in major industrialized countries such as the US and China have increased dramatically over the past periods. 
He predicted that prices stabilize between $ 53 and $ 58 a barrel, indicating that prices likely to rise to 1.75 million barrels out of the market.

The head of the Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani , on Saturday, the region 's commitment to international laws in regards to the demarcation of the border between Kuwait and Iraq, particularly the agreements signed between the two countries at the level of "Khor Abdullah."

 

This came during a meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister of Kuwait Khaled Al Jarrah Al Sabah with Barzani on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

 

He said Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah said in a press statement following the meeting that he had discussed with Barzani, "the historical relations between the State of Kuwait and the Kurdistan region and ways of strengthening them."

 

The two officials expressed their support for strengthening security cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the Kurdistan region regarding the fight against international extremism especially Daesh.

 

The Barzani currently participating in the work of the 53 session of the international security conference, which kicked off in Munich, southern Germany Friday, as Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi participate in the conference.

 

The Munich conference on security, the most important and largest of its kind in the world with the participation of more than 500 high-level of personal security and defense, political and economic fields.

Maliki accused of plotting with Kuwait to give up Khor Abdallah

Iraqi Member of Parliament Razak al-Haidari accused on Monday former prime minister Nouri al-Maliki of plotting with Kuwait to share Khor Abdallah waterway.

Member of Badr Organization militias added that State of Law Coalition leader Nouri al-Maliki rejected a proposal to dig a Kuwaiti waterway that is parallel to Khor Abdallah in which he agreed with Kuwait to share the waterway.

Earlier, the Iraqi parliament said that Khor Abdallah is a Kuwaiti waterway according to a UN demarcation of the border resolution, adding that Iraqi government is committed to implementing the resolution.
