Counting the head of the competencies of the Attorney Haitham al - Jubouri , on Wednesday, to talk about the separation of Kurdistan as " a paper threat" used by the province, and in the condition to resolve differences and obligations between Baghdad and Erbil before that happens separation, ruled out the possibility of implementing the application 140 of the Constitution at the moment.

Yota Thanks,  DV,  I agree with Mr. Jubouri work out all outstanding issues with Baghdad to include "HCL" and other important laws then we can discuss some form of "Independence" of some sort.  All those in favor....Say I....:D:)

Jordan's Ex-Minister Urges Arabs to support Kurdish Statehood

Saleh al-Qallab believes a Kurdish state will end Iran's encroachments in the region

Jordan's Ex-Minister Urges Arabs to Support Kurdish Statehood

ERBIL — Arab nations should not look at the Kurdistan Region's demand for independence with suspicion as the time for the Kurdish nation to achieve their right has approached, said the former media minister of Jordan.

In an article published on Thursday in the London-based Arabic Sharq al-Awsat newspaper, Saleh al-Qallab wrote that considering the recent developments in the region, the Arabs "as a nation brother to the Kurdish nation" should support the Kurds for achieving statehood.

Qallab explained why the Arab nations have no option but to do so in order to end the Iranian regime's ambitions to expand its authority over the countries in the region through Iraq and Syria.

Qallab described the current Iraqi VP and former prime minister Nouri al-Maliki "the deputy" for the Iranian regime who resorts to any means to return to power as PM.

According to Qallab, to reach his aim, Maliki depends on tens of sectarian organizations, some of which embedded in the Shi'ite Popular Mobilization Forces which are "under the command of Iranian commander Qasem Suleimani."

As Iranians fear the creation of a Kurdish state in Iraq may incite the Kurdish people within Iran's territories, they oppose Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani who heads the campaign for a Kurdish state, Qallab wrote.

He continued by saying that Barzani has vowed to declare independence if Maliki returns to power and should this happen "Arabs must not stand still about this move as Mahabad Republic will repeat itself and this time in a more serious way."

"Then the Iranians will get busy sorting out their own issues and their encroachment in the region will end."

On August 16,1945 Republic of Mahabad was declared in the city of Mahabad. The Kurdish state was dismantled 11 months later after the Iranian army suppressed the revolutionaries.
