Alsumaria News / Baghdad
MP for the coalition of state law Jabbar al-Abadi, Thursday, that the Kurdistan region will not receive "one penny" from the general budget if it does not abide by the payment of 550 thousand barrels of oil, while warned of a "problem" in the payment of salaries if oil prices continued to decline.

Ebadi said during his speech to the program "10 of 11" which aired "Alsumaria TV", "The Kurdistan region of Iraq will not receive a penny of its budget in the general budget for 2016 if it did not abide by the payment of 550 thousand barrels," noting that "there is a clause in the budget It provides for that. "

He said al-Abadi, a member of the parliamentary finance committee, that "there is a problem will occur in the payment of staff salaries, or at least delay in the event of low oil prices continued," pointing out that "the current budget and oil revenues are barely enough to pay staff salaries."

The MP for the coalition of state law Haider Mawla said earlier in the day Thursday, not taking the proposal to reduce the budget of the Kurdistan region in the budget from 17% to 13% "a great catastrophe," he said, adding that the province exported 950 thousand barrels per day.

The House of Representatives voted on Wednesday (16 December 2015), on the draft budget law for fiscal 2016 valued at more than 105 trillion dinars, while keeping the share of the Kurdistan region of 17% of the budget.

State of Law...imagine that! Thanks Yota and good morning.

Yeah, Captl1, The State of Law always hating on anything that can bring calm and cooperation.

Their real reasons for always being an arse is very palpable..... they have supported Maliki and have stolen and many of them have the blood of Iraqi's splattered all over themselves.

They know that the bell will soon toll and they will end up at the end of the hangman's noose.

DV, I strongly believe that the Kurds are fully aware that they must deliver on their part according to the HCA in 2016 Budget.  We will see change going forward and all political blocs minus SOL will be in full agreement.   All pending Laws will be approved in the coming period Jan 2016 at the latest to include Oil & Gas Law IMHO.

Keeping the faith!!

GO RV!!

I do hope that you are right. They have to deal with the declining oil prices and projections for 2016 via OPEC. IMO, The HCL has been separate legislation derived from the HCA and not a part of the Budget. It will be voted on separately.
