Texstorm Posted November 21, 2015 Report Share Posted November 21, 2015 The Kurds have been on their own for too many years now, they are not ever going to totally align with Baghdad's policies. In the back of their minds is the totalitarian rein of Saddam Hussain and the millions of Kurds that he killed. The way I see it is that Baghdad needs to give them a larger proportion than the 17 % currently on the table. Kurdistan will succeed with or without Baghdad. This is the HCL problem in a nutshell.
