CENSORED PHOTOS OF WW II‏

Recommended Posts

These are Great!
YOU PROBABLY WON'T GO THROUGH ALL THESE IN ONE SITTING.

You probably have seen the pictures taken Dec 7th 1941 at Pearl Harbor , but here is a lot of other war
pictures from the Pacific.

                              CENSORED PHOTOS OF WW II
These photographs were classified during WW II.  Many of us have not seen photography like this.
These are beautiful, stark black and white pictures, about 110 of them, of historical significance in
this collection.  At the end of the pics there are some interesting comments.
For many of us, our fathers and/or grandfathers participated in this action...

I had a picture a long time ago...my dads uncle (Uncle Bill) was on the pearl harbor iron sign above the gate shooting down planes. He and one other marine..who eventually dies of wounds...yet continued to fight for hours.

I wish I could find that picture

Very cool buddy!!  Pic #52 shows what I think is a grenade laying right in the sand where everyone is coming by, "Hey let's poke it with a stick!"  :twothumbs:

Thanks again to our brave men and women in the military both past and present for keeping us safe and free!!  :salute:
