This Federation Council Law is important!  It will add another chamber to the legislative branch of the Iraqi government.  It is analogous to our Senate.  Each of the 18 provinces gets 4 representatives on the Federation Council.  Once it's established and fully-manned, it will cause an even further de-centralization of power away from Baghdad, which is what everybody wants...everybody except Maliki, of course.

Your right this is really huge there actually putting a Democrocy together by having representatives from each providence.

It will no longer be the Maliki show.

All they need now is the HCL and a VALUED CURRENCY for each province to modernize with.

Like electricity and fresh water would be a good start.

And discusses the law in the corridors of the House of Representatives for years, but the political blocs did not reach a consensus on it, and view the law in the eighth of this month to parliament but differences also prevented the vote. Perhaps the observations of a coalition of law behind postpone the adoption of the law.

The Federal Court will be the ones to swear in the members of the Federation Council.

It Is coming folks... What we are witnessing the formation of here IS the Power Sharing.

I believe that this could really be the missing link to the RV....

The one two punch of the Federal Court and the Federation Council.

THAT is the Power Sharing. That will wrangle Maliki and his goons.

That will bring fourth the rest of what we are are waiting for... The HCL and then ultimately the RV.

We watch and we wait.
