LIBoy
I would like to see the video. However, "Thank you for protecting me and my family" along with a handshake always works for me.
KiaKaha
Handshake and "Thank you for your service!" from me and mine. They always seem shocked. The first time I did so, my kkids were very upset because I was talking to a stranger. I explained why I did what I did and that it was acceptable for them to do the same, they followed suit. <3 Love our American soldiers! My young (22 year old) friend is on his way home from the Stan now... so happy he's getting out of there. I've worried nonstop since he left. He's in the Army National Guard out of Utah. jobug38
If it is the sign language form of thank you; it would be putting your hand with all fingers straight palm side to your chin then lifting it up and outward from your face. Its very simple and says so much to just make that jester. Hope that helps.

parmenio
So sorry I didn't realize that the you tube did not take. It can be found in you-tube under "the gratitude campaign"-military, the short version. If someone can pull it in would appreciate it. Thanks jonjon!
