staunch
Wouldn't have mattered who we sent, they would still have said "we'll do it, but not because you said so. It's because we want to! "
gymrat76541
The US and the rest of the world can decide what they think the Iraq government should do; Iraq has to walk a fine line with so many Iran supporters inside their borders. That is like Japan telling the US to bomb Mexicio or Canada. Every country has to decide how they will deal the people next door. The UN is overseeing what Iraq does with Kuwait but they have no say in relations with Iran. Iraq will say that they will not allow something but what they actually do is up to them. Military supplies transported by aircraft are not the problem. Very few supplies can be transported that way. It's the shipping that does the damage. Doesn't the US have battle groups in that area? Might as well blame the US for supplies reaching Syria.
