I like your post the only thing i beg to differ on is the health care while i don't agree with the one that was passed i do however think that healthcare in general needs some overhauling because believe it or not the taxpayer is paying the bill already. Something definitely needs to be done and i am not smart enough to come up with an answer for the country so i will not attempt to but.......things definitely have to change.

We have stuck together since the late 1950's for the sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that i want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sakes of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course. Our two ideological sides of America can not and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let's just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way. HERE IS A MODEL SEPERATION AGREEMENT: Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a similar portion. That will be the difficult part, but i am sure out two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and sisparate tastes. We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU. Since you hate guns and war, we will take our firearms, the police, the NRA and the military. We will also take the nasty, smelly oil industry and you can go with wind, solar and biodiesel. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell (You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them). We will keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street. You can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps, homeless, homeboys hippies, druggies and illegal aliens. We will keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and rednecks. We will keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood. You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us. You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. when our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security. We will keep our Judeo-Christian values.. You care welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, Political Correctness and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N., but we will no longer be paying the bill. We will keep the SUV,s, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find. You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors. We will continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right. We will keep the Battle Hym of the Republic and the National Anthem. I am sure you'll be happy to substitute, Imagine, I'd like to Teach the World to Sing, Kum Ba Ya or We Are the World. We will practice trickle down economics and you can continue th give trickle up poverty you best shot. Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name and our flag. Would you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just ignore it. In the spirit of friendly parting, I'll bet you answer whch one of us will need whose help in 15 years.

I think we all are in agreement that healthcare needs to be reformed, but not shoved down our throats. Our president had to have health care done his way wether we wanted it or not. It really is time to have the people involved. We have evolved to the point that we do not need representatives doing our bidding. years ago it was necessary because of travel restrictions as well as information gathering. Today it is instant, the problem we have is where do we get trusted info (truth). A story can be told to fit anything, on any subject. As we see today both sides can make anything look good towards there favor. I always said we need a third party called the informative party. Analyzing both sides to come to a sound conclusion. Most people do, however, alot of people have their blinders on. Very easy to get suckered into believing something without all the facts. Since we dont have this party maybe we could use the american people as a feel in the air, or witch way the wind is blowing (since that is what most politicians do anyway, sometimes good, sometimes bad) and get the vote of the people instead of these straw polls. It could be done just as easy as it does for american Idol. You would press your social and a 4 digit password and vote. Our congress and senate would then know for a fact how we feel. If it is the countries bidding then we are united. If they go against the countries bidding then vote them out accordingly. Also it needs to be verified who in congress or senate voted for what. This lame game of not knowing what senator or congressman voted has to stop. IMO of course!

1. How do you know from which part of the country the writer is living? He could be from the NORTH, South, East or West.

2. Your nasty reply is typical of the liberal left. Try just smiling and walking away next time. Insults only make a smaller person out of you.

Thank you for your service. You have my respect and appreciation. The men in my family have served in every war since the Spanish American War. I, too, love my country. My feeling is that our country is being torn down more than torn apart by the current administration. Their far left, socialist goals will be our ruination if not stopped. I and am very much afraid for our future should we continue down their current path; I cannot "give it a rest." Again, thank you for your service. It's because of men like you that I am even able to sit and respond to you.
