with all due respect...both of my boys have been in the military and we still have many close friends that we are in contact with everyday that are still in...but seriously...this is NOT how the military works...especially for HOUSING of their soldiers...Cmon. THINK about this people...they are housed on POST if they don't already have off post housing in place, if the post has too many soldiers there at any one given moment (rarely happens...not even sure that it does) then they start shifting soldiers to other post/DUTY stations all over the US and even outside the US. Cmon

Nicely put on the table. One thing I have wondered for some time is: WHY would any company be doing business with Iraq if they didn't have some sort of VALUE to their monetary exchange...I don't think they would sign on for a "roll of the dice" or "don't worry about it, we will settle up on payment for services when things calm down" right? I think the rate is established, has been for a very long time and those directly involved with providing goods and services and entering into major contractual deals with Iraq already know exactly what that rate is??? Could I be right in my thinking or still off in left field, completely and utterly LOST ???

Where are you getting your information that 000's will be removed from the 25,000 and 10,000 notes? This has been discussed almost as much as the rates and dates all over the internet. There was a post recently by Adam Montana debunking this rumor once and for all. Personally, I am in agreement this will NOT happen. removing 000's is done in cases of extreme hyper-inflation of a currency exist; this is certainly not the case with the IQD

This site can be a little harsh at times...don't take it personally. Keep posting information that you think is important...if others agree fine, if they don't fine too. Put the information out there, post links to where you got the information, ask questions if you have them and don't worry about the ones that are quick to jump and be hateful.

JMO, my husband and I were talking last night about the news of the latest bombing over there...as I stated to him this wasn't a good thing in regards to our investment as well as it is sad and scary these things are still taking place over there...his reply and point IMO was very interesting...he said that these things will NEVER STOP or go away completely, it's been going on over there forever; it's what they know and do and he just doesn't see it ever completely coming to an end...sad, but I think he might be right.

I am not an economist, nor a math fan, so forgive me when I ask how you come up with $0.30 from this post? I am not saying you are wrong I am just asking you to explain - it seems to me the article/blog (whatever it is) indicates that it would come back at more than it's present value...where is the $0.30 coming from?
