jonjon
'Audit The Fed' To Be Part of 2012 GOP Platform "Link" TAMPA, Florida -- U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), son of Republican Presidential Primary candidate Ron Paul, announced today on his Facebook page that: "My father's longtime goal of auditing the Federal Reserve will be part of the Republican Platform in Tampa. This is great news and is long overdue. Playwright Victor Hugo once wrote, “You can resist an invading army; you cannot resist an idea whose time has come.” The time for Fed transparency has come."' Rand Paul's announcement comes on the heels of a statement made by former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney to the Washington Times that the Federal Reserve should be accountable. The statements made by Rand Paul and Mitt Romney precede a report made by CNN that the Ron Paul delegates will strike a deal with the Republican National Committee where more Ron Paul delegates will be allowed into the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida in exchange for good behavior by the Paul delegates while on the convention floor. Rand Paul's announcement was not received well by the majority of Paul supporters whose Facebook comments ranged from "an audit is just a distraction" to "I will never vote for Mitt Romney."
rightsonword
Rand = sellout Romney = Flip Flopper GOP = know they need the Paul votes to win. RP supporter = no vote for Romney in any way or time. The GOP are going to lose this election and it is their own fault for playing politics as usual.

carlos in san diego
I think you will be very disappointed when you wake up and realize your beloved Obama lost to Romney. Neither candidate has their hands clean enough of crime and corruption to run for a school board seat. But...for some reason people seem to think it's OK! Why do we have to settle for the lesser of two evils? It seems dumb to have to debate which one is better than the other when they are both bought and paid for and in the pockets of the elite. As far as I'm concerned, any person who supports a criminal for any public office, is no better than they are. Carlos Think the Fed is really worried about that?, .... NOT. --- The day that the FRS gets audited is the day after the day that the FRS hires the auditors that audit the FRS. exactly...it's like asking criminals to do their own policing....real smart! There's no point in wasting tax payers money...we already know what the results will be, the same as any other "congressional investigation" just like the 9/11 commission that found that they could not explain why the three buildings fell at free fall speed until all the building were nothing more than ruble in the footprint of the buildings. Every "commission" (including the Warren commission re. the Kennedy assassination) were set up to steer the findings away from the truth! From insider manipulation.
